Does MT5 support hybrid e-core yet ?

I just bough intel core ultra7 265k

in the window showing 20cpu but after optimizing with MT5 it has only 8Agent and also in Agent manager showing only 8

Your 8 Lion Cove P-cores handle your heavy foreground tasks while your 12 Skymont E-cores handle lighter background tasks.

If you minimize your MT5 terminal window, its processes will likely switch into the E-cores but this is likely self-defeating.

To be clear, your issue is not a function of MT5 but is a function of your hardware.

What versions of terminal and agent manager do you have installed?

What versions of terminal and agent manager do you have installed?

MT5: V5 build 5147
Agent Manager: 5147

Currently in optimization agent were found 20cores , but in agent manager still found only 8 same as a P-core

This used to work before update 5.0.0 build 5147 for me, the performance on an intel ultra 7 265k were much much better then i am currently getting (dropped from 20 to 8 agents), even though those are lower performance cores the parallelization was well worth it. Any plans to fix this?

I’m using the Intel Core Ultra 7 265 as well and I’m experiencing the same issue — only the 8 P-cores are detected, while the E-cores are not visible in the Agent Manager. Will there be an update to MetaTrader 5 to support E-cores in the future?

I'm currently running the Intel Core Ultra 7 265 as well, and I’ve noticed that Agent Manager only detects the eight Performance cores, leaving the Efficiency cores unrecognized. This seems to be a limitation in MetaTrader 5’s current ability to handle hybrid-core processors. I hope the developers consider updating the platform to fully support newer CPU architectures in future releases

Why not to go with AMD instead of Intel series?

Recently I upgraded my component to AMD based computer system.

INTEL CPU's are not efficient, It is comsuming too much electricity with the same or even less benchmark.

They have also overhating problem as this became a serious problem in some parts of Europe and servers nedded to close down. PC MAgazine has a new on this.

Intel series are significantly losing grounds to AMD CPUs in recent years?...

No justification is possible for this drop on vcores.. have 24 cores this was flying to optimize, now latest update 5200 drops it to 8 vcores..?? I got back to the past my laptop was doing better WTF?? I'm really pissed

On Friday, August 1, 2025, an updated version of the MetaTrader 5 platform will be released...

I am not sure it is related or not ... but I found one reply about.

The question:

New MetaTrader 5 platform version build 5200: OpenBLAS extension and increased control in MQL5

My computer has 32 logical cores. After updating the strategy tester, there are only 16 of them left. Is it possible to increase them to 32?

For internal tests inside the terminal, you have all ... cores shown, except for Efficient Low Power. LP cores (not to be confused with multi-core) are practically useless and are not even used by the operating system in normal mode. LP cores simply mislead people on such hybrid processors as Intel Core Ultra 185H :

...

But in MQL5 Cloud we only accept physical cores (...). LP cores are not physical and are always ignored.
