You can cancel your purchase and get an automatic refund to your MQL5 account (within 7 days from your purchase), if you haven't activated and installed it.

NOTE: once EA is activated - refunds are no longer possible. If you wish to request a refund, it must be done prior to activating the product.

Buyers should carefully assess the seller’s reputation and product. 

Maybe next time do a bit of homework before throwing money at random seller.

Falling for big-fast-buck scams and then running here to whine won’t magically fix it.

If you bought EA from MQL5 Market so you can use the EA without any problem at all. Yes, you can install and use EA without "the guy".

So, no problem.

The purchased tab is only showing the last two purchases

Even if a Market product is removed from the showcase, those who already purchased it, can install it anytime from their MetaTrader terminal (Market \ Purchased section).

In case you don't see the product on the list of your purchases in the terminal, try the following:

  1. Close all your MetaTrader terminals
  2. Go to C:\Users\{user name}\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\Community
  3. Delete all files starting from mql4.market.* and mql5.market.*
  4. Open MetaTrader terminal
  5. Try to install product again

Scams are pervasive. Anything with "AI" in the title could be fraudulent. If their EA description is very short or it looks like they know more about marketing than trading, then don't buy. I believe sellers can also be banned from the marketplace. I think metaquotes should have a team to check for fraudulent code techniques or malicious product expiries before products can be validated on the market

i bought a product recently, the author initially responded, but then disappeared. a month went by and i was unable stop errors on demo trading, so was unable to use it on live account. support gave me refund, therefore they can take action, and there is a will to do it. you just have to be patient and follow the process. The sellers account is still limited now. This is a seller with 50+ products and over 100k points.

Probably you did not buy from the Offical MQL5 Market. That was a big mistake. Or maybe you hired a low grade freelancer to develop the EA for you without sending you the source code by the end of the document.
