I want to request a refund on this scam EA
The good backtesting results do not guarantee any future profit (it is the rules for all EAs).

Passing the test successfully does not mean that the results stated in the Product description will be obtained in the future. Neither test results, nor Product description provided by the Seller guarantee profit or error-free Product operation.

It means: if EA is performing good in backtest but not good in real trading - it is not a scam.
Scam is the following: the sellers guarantee the future profit.

About refund -
if you cancel the indicator purchase within 7 days, without having activated it, you will also get a refund.
But as I understand - you already activated and used it.
So, I think -it is impossible to refund - because it is not a scam (read my previous post) and because you already activated this product/EA.

Thus, speak with the seller first, and if you do not agree with something - write to the service desk.
But I want to repeat: if EA is performing good in backtest but you got loss during the real/live trading - it is not a scam. Backtesting is not be the same with real trading (and must not be the same one) for many reasons incl programming reasons.

- If you bought the product from your friend or from your relative or from very active users on this forum so you can fix anything related with the sellers who are responsible about what they are seller (and because you both know each other for the long time).
- But if you bought something from "anyone" just because of have a lot of money so - sorry: it is your risk, and this risk can not be turned to anyone else.

There is one rule which some people follow:
subscribe to the signal or create an order in Freelance or purchase the product from the user/seller/coder/provider you know in person or you know by activity on the forum.
Because if you purchased something so I may ask:
"Do you know the seller in person, or you are familiar with him on this forum?"
If you say: "Not" so it will be very strange case for me ...

There are a lot of professional and honest users/coders on the forum, and some of them are very active on this forum helping to the other people and replying on the forum posts/requests.
Always choose the person you know in this forum (who is very active here), and you will have less problems with anything.

Sorry but it's definitely a scam ! a terrible product able to ruin someone financially disguised as amazingly beneficial and fine tunned to deceive those who demo test it.

but if I can't get a refund that's ok, it will be my first and last purchase. I'm thankful I was wise enough to buy one that costs $110 and didn't go for those on the front page selling for x10 times more.

Did you read my previous posts?
For example: speak with the seller first, and if you do not agree with something - write to the service desk - just wrote to them about which part of the Rules the seller broke for example ... or just inform them (service desk) about this seller - for their consideration - because as far as I know, the service desk is very strict with sellers (and the service desk is moderating the Market for example).

Hello all, I'm new to the community.
I just purchased my very first EA and I hope it won't be the last. I was looking for a bot that trades gold so I demo tested many and one in particular seemed very good and affordable (yeah too good to be true).

After learning how to do backtesting using real ticks, all sorts of different delays, forward testing... all the results from this bot were amazing (on XAUUSD pair). so I thought the results can't be rigged and proceeded with the purchase. I go to sleep and let the bot run overnight. tomorrow dawn I wake up distressed (almost like I felt it) and went to my laptop to check MT5, surprise ... half of my money is gone!
basically it performs nothing like the backtest. so I really would like to request a refund from support. how do I proceed? I have all the proof of the cheating this bot does
