EA cannot run on the my MT5 platform

Recently, all the EA can be run on updated MT5 platform.  It requires to reinstall the EA but this will use up one activation quota. This is unfair. It is not my problem.  

The EA "[edit] EA MT5" was no longer be found in the market place. I cannot reinstall it in the same MT5 platfrom.

go to your list of products in your profile. You will find your product there. Even if it is removed from the marketplace, if your subscription is up to date, then you can always download it again from there.

And if you install it on the same hardware and windows version that you installed it on previously, then, you will NOT use up another activation.
 
That error is shown if you try to load a program that is not regularly download from mql5 marketplace (for example if you copy and paste programs from a terminal to another) 

It can also happens if the compiled version on mql5 marketplace is too old and need to be updated. In this last case contact the author and explain the problem.

error 538 is invalid license.


It means: your product is already installed but the validation is lost because of the Windows was updated and so on.
So, delete this product from your Metatrader and install it once again (from same Metatrader).

If you buy the product but the product was deleted from the Market after that so you can still use it .. so please find the procedure about HowTo:

The purchased tab is only showing the last two purchases

Even if a Market product is removed from the showcase, those who already purchased it, can install it anytime from their MetaTrader terminal (Market \ Purchased section).

In case you don't see the product on the list of your purchases in the terminal, try the following:

  1. Close all your MetaTrader terminals
  2. Go to C:\Users\{user name}\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\Community
  3. Delete all files starting from mql4.market.* and mql5.market.*
  4. Open MetaTrader terminal
  5. Try to install product again
