Hi, See Attached. Seems the new test does not clear the chart of the previous test or does not show new trades on the new chart. Please fix.
I find that my best practice is to close all tester windows following a backtest, and then navigate to the Overview tab to begin a new backtest. It can also be helpful to cut old backtest logs, settings, and reports from my MQl5 folder and paste them into my generic Windows Documents folder.
Although my processor has only 8 cores and any total optimization Steps setting above 7 uses 100% of my resources, my pc does not crash. It continues slowly through to completion. Based on what I've read, there seems to be a recent race to high performance CPU's with a disregard for overclocking by manufacturers.
Im adding one test with free defauöt robot. C attached. What / why is it? Reinstall might help?
dont post videos on google drive. when 2nd/3rd party views them on the site, they are crap quality, and not same quality that you upload them with. They are always pixellated and crap.
I have read weird issues such as this recently after the 3 latest updates, however, imo they are related to unstable cpu speeds. If your system was stable, then, I am sure that your issue would not occur. See if you can slow your cpu down. Even just 95% of full speed should "do the trick".
A reinstall may fix the charts, but only until the same issue occurs again.
until the same issue occurs again.
Thnx, making many tests adjusting settings and after every test reinstall ? not working ... thnx.

Closing charts after every test not working = not cleaning charts from trades from previous tests... C attached. Cleaned cache also... How to slow down CPU? + how to add CPU cores for optimization power (have 16) ? Thank you

This should erase all previous backtest data. It may be restorable depending on your Windows Recycle Bin settings.

as i already mentioned, this is most likely due to unstable cpu.
EDIT: I suggest that you do as Ryan says in his recent msg -- but if you have the same issue happen after, then, I would consider that as further evidence that your cpu cores are unstable. Either you need better cooling, or you need to lower your power feed to the cpu and slow your cpu down to 95% - no more than 97% to both decrease the maximum temp and speed of your cpu, and hopefully the cpu will be able to handle the maximum speed. And after that do as ryan suggested, again, and then try your backtest again. If you have same issue again, then, I am sorry, but that will mean that you have a much more serious hardware issue.Closing charts after every test not working = not cleaning charts from trades from previous tests... every system is different, therefore, I can not help you there. Normally this is done in your bios settings.
If you are optimising, then, you can decrease your cores, which will do the same thing. Search this site. There is several discussions on doing that. I do not have the link.
You can decrease the cores on the agents tab. right click on a core and in the right click menu, select disable. disable more if you continue to have same issue in the discussion. But if you continue to have same issue when you have just 4 left, then, I suggest that this wont work, and you have a "more serious hardware issue".
