I read some recommendations here, so I added a user defined Stop Loss (50 pips) and a Trailing Stop that activates when the price moved a user defined x pips, (I set it to 100 pips), and the trailing stop jumps to user defined (10 pips) behind the price. This thing is now secure and is a marvel. You see minute to minute how your account grows slowly but surely. I have it running simultaneously on three different assets, and it's beautiful to watch. I also did a reversed version where he places Sell orders instead of Buy orders and vice versa. I'm still testing it to see if it works better than the normal one. All in all, this EA has the potential on which we can build on. Nice job. Thank you!!!

I have tested the No Loss EA on demo account and have had very encouraging results.  I have taken the liberty to add the following to the code.  1) A user-input spread size limit, beyond which it takes no new entries.  2) A user-input "safety net" that sets the minimum equity level.  If the equity goes below that, the system closes all the trades and has to be re-started.  3) A user-input decision whether to close on Fridays to avoid a possible weekend gap and if so, at what local time?  4)  A user-input decision whether to print all the trade opening and closing reports.   I found that all the prints made it difficult to extract the fundamental data for analysis.  5) Modified screen output that shows, amongst other things, the current profit or loss of live trades by the symbol in question.  Useful if several pairs are being traded at the same time.   I hope that Kommoju Sahityananda Devi is agreeable to these modifications.  The substance and principles of the EA are unchanged.  I am now running the modified EA on a live account with so far good success.  It's still in an early stage, but is anybody interested in the modified version?

Backtesting data quality is so low that results can't be trusted at all.
Download correct data and test again, you will be surprised(mostly in a bad way).

Indeed, very pleasantly surprised. Surprised I can rub this in your face mouthing off when you didnt even do  a test to back your words.  I randomly picked a symbol. Random time frame.  And I can say, I will be following this EA with a lot of interest. In case, you wanna know, Tickystory data 1 year, 99%. WOnt even bother posting my test. You can do your own test

 

Someone please convert, the latest modified ea in the thread to mt5 please. Also, need two versions. One buys and sells as per the original logic in the attachment. One which just reverses the logic to buy and trade.

I've back tested this version and v2 and both seem good. Both behave very different on different brokers. I will forward test both versions on demo accounts next.
