So far only hands, but

I'd like to have a robot so I can rest

my opinion is that a robot does what you program

but programming something that only the mind can do is just a mystery to me

What confuses me is the huge number of robots in kodobase, the marketplace and other resources. There are no earning ones.

Those who could be taken away have been taken away - and young people are now earning their living in tic-tac-toe

Because they all work on classical schemes, indicators, TA methods, SR, PA, hedging, martin, neural networks, and other stuff.

There are EAs that have been earning for several years in a row, there are some on the market, but still all have classical execution, some use triangles, etc.

But any time these EAs can give a 50% or more drawdown at once, and if you don't withdraw your money in time, a whole year of trading will go in vain.

Manual systems and analysis methods abound on forums too, and why, do they all work better? No, they are the same rubbish, only they are not as quick to check as a robot, and there is a lot of subjectivity and self-deception in the manual test.

Yes, ANY Expert Advisor has periods of profit. But they are shorter than periods of loss, and all other things being equal, the total loss during periods of loss is greater than the total gain during periods of profit.

Moreover, this rule does not depend on the Expert Advisor complexity. All 700 of my TS work with simple long known patterns. The code of any of them is in Kodobase. And at any moment there are those who are earning. The only problem is that these earning TS are constantly changing.

vladavd:
And how do you build up a portfolio of crosses so that it is balanced and not skewed? Is it all from the USD?

Marat Zeidaliyev:

How is it ??? Is there no risk limit there ?

Georgiy Merts:

How is that ??? Is there no risk limit there ?

There are some where there is a risk limit, but the profit is not always dripping,

and then there are the ones with no risk limit but very stable, profit every day

but they still lose it one day.

The market also has extremely bad weather.

Well... What kind of "stable" are they if they "lose one day"? ??? That's the way any martin works... Increases-increases-increases the load and the equity falls faster and faster... Until a small movement in the right direction "pulls" the equity into a small plus, after which everything closes...

In fact, a "casino" TS... It is unwise to use it.
