Structure and composition of FOREX market participants - page 11

Yes, the legal entity Alpari Limited, which is not an aggregator, is stated as a liquidity provider for Alpari-Forex Ltd. Apparently they could not refuse the regulator's request to specify a "liquidity provider". I do not really understand all this structure and, most importantly, it is not clear why they have to hide from the clients the information about the mechanism of obtaining quotes by the broker himself? The Australian broker's approach seemed more adequate to me. Our broker does not look convincing, even though it is licensed.

I think that Alpari Forex Ltd will also inform you about its quotation provider ;)

In general, I think it is interesting to leak this situation to the media: the law was adopted just to tick a box - there is no transparency, and therefore there are plenty of schemes for manipulation.
It remains to be seen whether all clients have the same ticks in the PS and whether they coincide with the actual schedule...

The answer came from the aggregator - they provide the quote history if there is a contract with a broker who is their client:

Hi - I checked inside and although we have the data, we can only present it to the contracting counterparty.

As a solution for you, you can use another broker on historical market data, please see our list of partners below:

Hmm, I don't see any brokers I know.) But maybe it's for the best?)))

But the aggregator Integral did not reply to the same query about controlling broker quotes. I'll write as I did to him again!

Probably because few of them even offer MT4... And their sites are not that sensible...

-Aleks-:

Apparently because not many people offer MT4 at all... and their websites are not very clear...

Why, for example MT4. So, I wrote to IC Markets and asked why they are not in the list of brokers-clients of the aggregator Currenex. I am waiting for an explanation. I got a reply from IC Markets - they say that they are not working with them since last year, so they are not in the list. Hmm...

geratdc:

So, the reply from the regulator has arrived.

That's the end of the fairy tale, and well done to those who get it ))))

Great information, informative :)

Info is hidden for one simple reason - they are not connected to any aggregators. Those who are connected have no problem affirming it, for example FxOpen is connected to lmax, Carrenex and Integral, which they state on the website without any problem.

If they are connected to an aggregator, they may have very flexible relations, up to the fact that they do not aggregate anything and the broker just receives the current prices from the supplier and that's all.

Well, part of the problem has been solved. I think that the logical chain should lead to the question of what to do if a well-behaved broker, licensed in all respects, took it.

Now, it seems to me, the logical chain should lead to the question, and what to do if a good broker, licensed in all respects, took and stubborn, does not give back money.... Especially if we are talking about very good money. For example, if some "Gad" accidentally increased the balance by 300 times. Does the community know specialized institutions that can "convince" them through courts or regulators? Maybe there are specialized law firms or their equivalents?

How to push the branch in this direction? How about a standing ovation? Shouting "encore" !!!

Report what is happening to the regulator, attach documents, scans, then act like a waiter for a month)))

You have done very useful research despite the "provocative shouting from the crowd". But it does not make much sense to stop there, because I, for example, am very interested ( https://www.mql5.com/ru/forum/190682/page11#comment_5471677 ) in finding a radical solution. Remember, how in some regions of Russia "auto lawyers" appeared. They pick apart insurance companies, against which drivers are simply defenseless. If only one such company "forex_lawyers" existed, it would change lives ...

Once again, I salute you.

Народ, объясните структуру - есть биржа ФОРЕКС, кстати где её штаб-квартира? Есть основные участники - это крупные банки и центробанки государств...

If you mean Al-ri, they gave me a two-second delay in trade execution when I started making good money. Didn't keep track of the spreads, might have been something too. I guess that aggregator I was dealing with was physically on the moon))).
https://www.mql5.com/ru/forum/99112

Since the execution was always 2 seconds, I think my account was firmly tied to one of the vendors (the slowest), rather than choosing ECN technology, i.e. with the best price.

When I asked for a report on transferring my trades to the liquidity provider, they replied that they do not provide such data.

On their forum, I was told that they are more of an STP broker than an ECN.

In short - if you do not drain yourself, they will worsen your trading conditions - with spread, speed, maybe something else they come up with...
