What is good or bad about extending the registration of participants?
There are a few unpleasant things.
1. The perception of the competition as something "strict" is diminishing; epithets such as "liberty", "f*cking" have already been expressed towards the Russian organisers.
2. Participants who registered later have a certain moral advantage, if you do not register, there are no obligations and "headache", there is time to evaluate the strategy of opponents with the aim of selecting the appropriate TC strategy. So there is an advantage.
Purely my imho, I do not impose.
A side effect of the first point is a decrease in interest from potential advertisers and event sponsors. Now there is already a very interesting potential sponsor in all respects, but I will not say in advance just in case.

I do not see it as anything particularly negative - why not adopt the tradition of APRIL and say limit registration to May 10 ?

Why actually limit the registration? You enter for example on the 30th of May - and for 10 trades with the maximum lot you go to the top - and provide a cool drive
