Not copying running trades at subscription start

Hi there,

I want to subscribe to a signal, but I don't want to copy the running trades of the signal.

How will that be possible?

Simply open a demo account and subscribe the signal and let it copy.

If it's a real account signal, you can only subscribe with a real account, not a demo. And vice versa

There are only 2 ways you can prevent open trades from copying:

1)  Wait until there are no open trades on the signal before subscribing

2) Un-check  the option in the Options->Signal tab "Synchronize positions without confirmation". Only problem with that is you will have to manually verify EVERY trade

One other possible option, which I've never tried, is to remove any open trade symbols from your market watch window. So if the signal has a AUDUSD trade open, remove that from your Market Watch. That may fool MT into thinking you don't have that symbol. Maybe try it on a demo signal first and see if it works? Oh, and don't forget to add the symbol back to Market Watch afterwards ;)
