US Senate approves raising the debt limit before the end of Obama's term

The national debt limit is being raised until March 2017, i.e. before a new administration enters the White House.

In particular, military spending will increase by $80 billion over the next two fiscal years.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the current public debt limit will be exhausted by 3 November.

Anyway, our song is good, start again.

The machine is running, the dollars are being printed.

I just forgot the explanation of how the size of the national debt is related to the interest rate. I read it somewhere, but it slipped my mind.

what about these debts - they are bonds -

they can't be called before maturity - only sold on the market....

let's say the bond market collapses....

that means no one will buy the next bond issue ....

it means there will be nothing to pay the interest on the bonds ...

so what ? for the u.s. it's no big deal ...

how much is the interest payment on the bonds sold now ? compared to other u.s. revenues ?

Zogman, not options, you can't get far on options alone.)

Zogman, you are a pessimist. How many of our los... Our people have been screwed by banks, but they do not stop carrying their dough there, taking out loans and teaching their children to do the same.
