Testing the new MQL5 compiler for x64 platforms - 2 to 10 times faster calculations! - page 5

It's fun to be here.

That's great news.

Keep working and don't respond to destructive criticism.

Alexey Volchanskiy:
Yeah, really cool! Was the CLI used? And why 20 cores on a xeon, did the compiler start generating parallelizable code automatically? Or is it all in one thread?
Of course it's one thread.

Renat Fatkhullin:

Very few people understand why our own secure language is important in our case. But it is a critical component.

For those who don't know - MQL4/MQL5 contains the most indicators and Expert Advisors for trading platforms in the world, while MQL4/MQL5 itself appeared in the ranks of programming languages.

The next changes in Metatrader 5 will bring a large set of new features in MQL5 that, together with its current capabilities, will allow to write powerful analytical systems directly in the terminal. However much detractors may laugh, but in MQL5 you can even write a computer game inside the terminal. And not even one of them can be run in parallel.

But you've sacrificed a lot for the sake of this protection. You can't use something, which has already been created, tested and debugged by a huge army of programmers all over the world, a simple example is https://www.mql5.com/ru/articles/27. You need to connect NET through another crutch or write everything debugged by yourself inside MT5.

Powerful analytical systems have already been created, have long been known and used in the world. Make a functional that allows you to easily and effortlessly use, for example, at least one of the leaders of mathematical analysis (MathLab), the platform will only benefit from it + if you stay within the protected code, you will be honored and praised .....

Not through another crutch https://www.mql5.com/ru/articles/1528

But don't force users to move all MathLab inside MT5, it won't work as billions of man years have already been spent on development, testing and debugging there...

But for the sake of this protection, you have put a lot on the altar.

In my opinion, the reason in your own language - mostly have an economic justification.

Yes, it's rather silly to try to demand MatLab capabilities from MQL. But it seems to me that 99% of indicators, Expert Advisors and scripts are very simple and they do not need MQL capabilities. The tenth percent of those who want to integrate with MQL can easily be disregarded, they will not bring profit.

So, alas, users are left to make queries within the framework of this language.

Personally, after the datafeeds and the possibility of debugging on historical data, I don't need any more. Unless a service feature such as Class Explorer is at least at MSVC 1.0 (1998) level.

Not so. I'm not asking to use the power of Matlab in MQL, I'm only asking to give an opportunity to use this power inside MQL, not to rewrite everything from Matlab to MQL by hand, to test and debug it, but to take a ready-made tool and use it.

Perhaps, the fact that 99% of indicators are simple is due to this limitation. Try to implement at least this function in Matlab using MQL.

How much time and effort will it take you?

Well, matlab in MQL is already too much)) If I'm using it for myself, rather than for the Market, there are many ways to access the matlab. I personally miss the System.Collections analogue.

Ok, Vasiliy Sokolov recently implemented the HashTable analog, but why did an enthusiast do it? https://www.mql5.com/ru/articles/1334

Renat Fatkhullin:

The answer has been given more than a dozen times.

The technological lifespan of MT4 is over. And if you continue to sit on it, it is your own fault that you are losing opportunities. It's not anyone else's fault, but yours alone, including your brokers.

If you think that someone is obliged to maintain old systems just because something doesn't want to get off them, then you greatly misunderstand the principles of this world (they are different from how an individual sees the world). Unfortunately, the mass of traders have so convinced themselves of MT4 that it's ridiculous to watch. People are so shown to be enemies to themselves that it cannot be explained by rational reasons.

Of course no one has to, well people will scatter over time, only dead social souls will be left.

Dmitry Fedoseev:
Of course no one has to, well, people will scatter over time, only dead social souls will remain.
Come on... So far, there are more and more users. The number of people who would really leave because of such trivial things is minuscule. Still, you have to look at things realistically...

So you have to really look at it and realise that it's not a small thing. As long as there are more users and more users because of the emphasis on the social network, to squeeze the mind with the masses.

It's not a trivial thing, it's the fundamental basis on which the world is based:

Hi honest company. This is what I have, can anyone explain - MT5 does not work poke poke poke does not start...how to start I do not know...
