I think it's still there. ) It just doesn't play after every correspondence.
It's a mess out there. I texted my conversation partner and said, "So and so, I can see there's a message, but I can't read it. Tram-pam-pam-pam-pam-pam-pam-pam-pam-pam-pam-pam-pam-pam-pam-pam-pam-pam-pam-pam. My message appears in the correspondence. I leave for an hour. I come back, refresh my page... you-ssh-ssh-ssh-ssh... His message, which I couldn't see, is there... but mine's gone...
I look in the chat window and see my message (why it does not have my avatar - I do not know, maybe so designed):
OK, I go to my message and ...
... it's not there.
