It does  not update in real all the time, I have to switch time period

then it updates . can you pls look into the code and correct it.

I was astonished by your very simple and clear approach to the market and my eyes were glued to your indicator.


Just color-coding the periods when the closing price exceeded the previous high-low fractal is a market tactic! Brilliant!


If it is possible, I have a favor to ask of you, your capable indicator, like the fractal indicator below.


Is it possible to change the before and after values that are used as a reference in determining the position of the fractal?

The X-bars Fractals indicator allows setting the number of bars on the left and the right from fractal. It is good as for local, so for global extremums
 
Thank you very much for your very helpful approach and ideas for charts. I have been fascinated for over two years by the idea of colour coding when a candle object (close) exceeds the previous fractal.

I know you are very busy, but I wanted to comment to ask you to add more functionality to this indicator.

Normally fractals are defined by two values on each side of the candle, but is it possible to make this value variable?

For example, I would appreciate if you could make it as [X-bars Fractals] where the right side is 2 candles as usual and the left side (past) is 10 candles.

Also, I would appreciate if anyone who reads this comment could create the code.
