So from what I see, you trade breakouts of Moving Average envelopes .. seems like an ordinary trend-following system. Does it work in Ranges?

Yes that s the problem with the range,sometimes depending on volatility,the red price line crosses the gbp filter up and a few seconds after that,it recrosses down again,and if you dont have luck,after that it recrosses again up and rises up to for eg 50 pips.So i think it s better to stay in position with a stoploss of let say 20 pip in ranges,so you have 50 percent chance that you will be in the right direction
If you don t do that,you will pay sometimes 3 or 4 times spread and a plus a few pips of loss.
Other idea is to trade only during London and USA opening hours.
Or perhaps have you anther idea.

This system is more complicated and sophisticated than trading breakouts Moving averages envelopes,it trades after crossing the gbp filter that act as trailingstop and takeprofit,and i think it also measures the strength of the trend because it uses adx bars,strong trend equal blue adx bars,weak strong = bred or dark adx bars!So they are some systems in this system.Also the ichimoku blabla is inclued with the cloud.the cloud is by default inactive;but it can be made visible.

Hello dear traders, Finnaly i got the "Nec Plus Ultra" on charting ... Price (PIP) Bars or Range Bars !! No more time based bars with gaps and uncontrolable price action. Only clear and smooth price charts. Please see my NY-night trade from today... Done via NinjaTrader (free) platform and use only one indicator. (attached) Get free data feed via Gain. Actually you dont need to register with gain, create a new gain-connection within NinjaTrader platform and choose "use NinjaTrader server". Insert my used indicator after installing the platform To Import
