Question for mladen

HI mladen,

I was using the tma abands with the trade simulator found in this thread:

It doesn't work at all, as the tma bands have already recalculated and seem to be fixed, making it look great of course, but not accurate. Is there a way to simulate a realistic test with TMA bands where they will recalculate as the trade progresses, other than just forward testing?

Hi Everyone,

Have a big favor to ask about the tma's. Can someone write a simple ea that will take a countertrend position on the break of the outer band with a cashout and SL at the midpoint of the same tma plus spread for each pair?

The reason I ask is this works incredibly well in a non-trending market, and I think spread across all pairs will be profitable even in trending conditions.

Will try and post a 2 week test here to show...

Version made compatible with new mt4 : triangularma_centered_asymmetric_bands_nmc.mq4

 

Out of curiosity : is there a centered TMA for tradestation?

That would prevent a lot of wonder indicators for metatrader
