But it seems to me that this tool uses an ZigZag algorithm.

Doesn't matter if it repaints. Prices move in orderly fashion until it has lack of momentum, or news events.
No, I have not seen it work personally. Ensign uses either normal time frame or range bars.
For mt4, there is the issue of + and - (zoom in & out). Nevertheless, should not affect code.
U can set 'x' number of bars (between 100 -300) for these lines to erase itself.

Would be nice if it can be replicated in mt4.it more like auto_trandline + parabolic SAR
MAYBE:
just like PSAR it make the trandline until it cut down buy the oppsite trandline
when you have long than the upper trandline act as the stopline
or dual trandline, first trandline to act as keep the line
the second act the stop
