That's it.Hello everyone,
I am looking for anyone who have a working Cortex Neural Network Software ( i think the last known version was version 5). If you have a working application please let me know. i need it very urgently to test and train some EA in metatrader 4 . I did purchase a copy from Neural Networks Tutorials and Software but it seems to be missing a "wait.dll" file. They also have a free copy but both of them don't seem to work since they are missing the "wait.dll" . They sent me the registration code but after telling them that the package was missing the "wait.dll" they have gone MIA . i sent them 7 emails with no replies at all.
Anyone who has used or have experience with this software . I am basically using it to train and test my Metatrader 4 EAs
I am running it on Windows XP professional with service pack 2.
Any help or suggestion is well appreciated. i need to Finish the EA by this weekend.

Yep , no so good in the previous versions, and is still early to talk about this V8. But let's see, William seems to be a serius developer and it's going well in forward tests. Something that I don't understand about this software it that requires some optimization from time to time and I thought that a NN should be self optimizated. But, I really don't know much about NN...

NNs do not self optimize. Genetic programming models do. With an NN, the proper inputs still need to be chosen and the weights need to be adjusted accordingly.
I analyzed Bogie's v8 EA, its performance is really good, although strategy close to mimetic BetterEA,but the model used seems difference.
Anyone found valuable things from the mimetic EA's test orders ?
Here I provide BetterEA's live detailed performance results from 2007.09.03 to 2008.05.30, can be refered to.
Hi Guys,
please check this link, it's look close to Bogie NN EA...

As I said in front,Bogie's ea and the one I posted is truly different. And I thought that the mimetic ea I posted is also obtains from some corner of Internet,Who has already found its trail could share it?
Bogie-NN-v8 is different all right, at least in the sense that as a commercial product, it has a total disregard for any other EA that seems to be running on the same platform - see below how it closed dozens of orders from another EA, even though different magics and currency pairs were involved! Unacceptable...

I started to think about it and it would be great if we could re-train the cortex NN to a more recent eur/usd market.. I'd bet william would appreciate it.. haha
Yes, I noticed that as well, but I'm sure many think that dswk was after somehow copying Bogie's indicator, when in fact the opposite is true - Bogie's indicator is a renamed public domain EA!
btw, I think the Bogie developer included NN's simply to increase sales by jumping on the NN band-wagon. The indicator he copied was written back in 2003 as far as I'm aware so it definitely isn't 'cutting-edge' by any means. Also, 'retraining' the indicator is fairly trivial, I'll do it and post it when I get a chance - though, one would have thought that Bogie's indicator is already retrained (for EURUSD I'd suspect) so just rename that and try that!
Finally, the 'open-source' EA that dswk posted is a straight copy from the NN tutorial site, and it doesn't work as is - at least I couldn't get it to work. And it also needs to have the indicator retrained to be of any use. Personally, I think FANN is the way to go - no need for Cortex, and it now has MT integration. I have only recently resolved to learn how to use it, so I don't know much more about it yet...
