From what I could understand seeing indicator with Metaeditor, it seems that it uses an exponential moving average for calculation.

Is it possible to modify this indicator by placing the option of choosing the type of moving average?

This a DSS Bressert composite indicator with an option to chose what kind of smoothing to aply. Default is EMA (as in the original) but you can chose one of the 4 types (depending on SmoothMode) :

0 - SMA
1 - EMA

2 - SMMA

3 - LWMA

You can make a Bressert the chart (such as the RSI indicator on chart), but still with colored areas for the over - under sales areas.

For example: if the course / Bressert goes down and in the oversold zone dips / under 20, the area should be green.

The same overbought / over 80, there it should be red.

I liked the idea to use something else for DSS calculation so tested some. Posting here 3 but the one I find interesting is the DSS of an average, so posting the picture of that one only. The others are not bad either (what surprises me that they do not lag when compared to "pure" DSS) so feel free to test them - it all depends on ones preferences which one to use
