Haven't visited in a few days, the thread is getting long!

Do we have a general consensus as to which version is to be the main focus? The v1 and v2 (2 EAs), the v1+v2 (1 EA), the v1+v2 closing every 5%, or the fifthelement's version?

I'm currently testing the v1 and v2 (2 EAs) and the v1+v2mini5% (1 EA) versions in demo. Both started at the same time, but v1+v2mini5% (1 EA) is way ahead of the v1 and v2 (2 EAs). However, v1+v2mini5% is opening way more trades in much bigger lot sizes than the v1andv2 version, but I think cucurucu intended for his EAs to be slower and "safer".

Haven't tested gbolla's newest version or fifthelement's version. But just thinking out loud here, couldn't the strengths of all the different versions be combined together into one EA since they all work in similar fashion?

 

It would be great if the first thread is updated with the latest versions of the EAs

. You are right. I have spent a lot of time finding the best safest settings. More agressive settings will get you to margin call. This pair of EAs (V1 and V2 - I only use them as they are my own EAs) is suitable for EURUSD ONLY! I have tested and "re-tested" other paris but the results were either poor or a complete disaster. I don't think there is anything I can do to improve this pair of EAs.

At the end of this trading day I'll post my 3 months results. V1 and V2 on EURUSD only. Standard Account on IBFX.

Those lines are not errors. They are informations for debuging purposes.

Please check the Journal tab (not the Experts tab) for errors. If you get any errors there, please post the text here.

 

weird thing is that journal didnt show anything except for that....but it just wont open any trade

 

Here are my results for the last 3 months:

Steady 500$ monthly. When my balance will reach 6000$ I will expect 1000$ monthly.

Original separate versions (in the first post zipped as V1+V2.zip).

Timeframe is irrelevant - read previous explanations. Fwiw I use daily .

Very nice statement. I'm curious though, with the max. draw down shown on the statement, don't you think that with a 3k initial deposit you could handle twice the lot size?
