and timbobo made an ea

blessing v.5 (the final one) is very neat

i've been testing it for 2 weeks now

and i think it requires only a little more mods to perfection

but the thread has been abandoned

i thought someone would pick up from there

Thanks but as you can see at my picture i already know Blessing Martingale and i already test the version 5.

Bur for me it is not a martingale system cause it is only doing the same numer of lot, not doubling it.

Except that it has hedging orders it looks as a grid system.

If BM v5 is not a martingale, then there is none. And it doubles as intended.

I think it is maybe more a matter of your settings if bm 5 hadn't worked like

expected.

However, good luck with your new EA.

bm v5 can be improved

i think it only appears more dangerous than most martingale

because of it risk/reward ratio

but if you adapt it to the right pair in the right market it would

come through well worth the risk

have to watch out for onset of trending episodes

bm v5 should be modded with a few more features

let's go back to the thread and see how we can do this?

Improvements...ok,everytime. But what will you do? Adding some indicators and by receiving a signal, stop one side and let the other run? Something like that? What is your plan?

I'd rather think of applying a different progression than martingale,lesser aggressive. But so far its all more theoretical.

the only problem is i don't see in the code how to change the pipstep (for example for such a pair as gbpjpy i need 50 pipstep (or perhap's better 100).

I will see the code 2.

the pipstep you're looking for is the TP (takeprofit)

you can set this externally

the design of the ea is very neat - in fact, too neat

No,no worries. In no way it was my intention to blame you personally for something. I only was defending bm 5 a little. Besides the whole matter is anyway much to complex to make everything right.

It is what i suspected

After looking at the charts and trading terminal, i saw that the pipstep was 20 pips (as TP so).

The only thing i regret is that it is good to have tp and pipstep and not necessary the same.

For example if you want only a little profit u can take pipstep to 50 and tp at 30 (as the system double the lot each time).
