Wish me some luck pleaseWell, hedging is definitely not my style, if I do that I'll gone berserk seeing the floating loss. Anyway, I'm here to wish you luck. Good luck buddy.

David

Bottom Line
I have done what you are doing and it does not work. It's the spread that will get you. You assume that when one trade loses the other wins. No. The spread will often prevent the opposing trade from reaching profit and you will have double losses that will eat you up. BUT: here's the point that counts: ANY Martingale will eventually WIPE OUT your account, period. It's just a matter of time. ANY negative progression will wipe out your account. Believe it or not, it's fact. No matter what you try (stop trading at a certain drawdown, or after so many losses, stc.) the Martingale will eventually win (you lose). Please stop now and look for a different trading approach.

Not to flame or incite, but I'm afraid that you're quite wrong and ill-informed about this subject. Built correctly with the proper safeguards, a Martingale based trading system, with either counter or pro-trend progressions, can be a beautiful and terribly profitable thing.
oh well... it rises from the hell
