You can not pre check extrapolation (the data will only come, it still does not exist)

waves are identified by counting x bars.
From x depend which wave it uses for predicting.
It is very easy to chack which one was acurate for 3 last bars and this one will be acurate for at last 3 next bars. For bo it is anough.

Is there any reliable forecasting indicator?

If you are looking for a future forecasting indicator, there is no such thing. Any extrapolation will be worse and worse as the extrapolated period becomes longer and "further in the future".
All we can calculate are odds - not certainty
