Innovating the Future of Trading with Precision and Strategy

Welcome to my MQL5 profile! I’m TraderSmith, a passionate and results-driven trader committed to developing Expert Advisors (EAs) that transform complex market data into simple, actionable trading decisions.

Through developing trading bots, I aim to eliminate the emotional biases that often lead to impulsive decisions.
Every strategy I design is rooted in robust market analysis, precise risk management, and an understanding of market dynamics, ensuring that each trade has a solid foundation.

I focus on creating tools that are adaptable to a wide range of trading styles and risk profiles.
From high-frequency scalping to trend-following strategies, my EAs are built to execute trades with speed, accuracy, and discipline—freeing you from emotional reactions and enabling you to trade with confidence.

Every Expert Advisor I develop is designed with a clear trading philosophy.
I avoid random, “black-box” approaches and instead focus on precise, rule-based systems that are backtested, validated, and optimized to adapt to current market conditions.
Whether you’re executing strategies with pending orders, focusing on ATR-based risk management, or leveraging complex thresholds, my EAs are built to excel in dynamic market environments.

Comprehensive Support and Education
Trading is a journey, and I’m here to support you along the way.
Not only do I provide customer support to help you with any setup or technical questions, but I also offer educational resources and guidance on how to fully leverage the bots in various market conditions.
My goal is to ensure you not only use the tools effectively but also understand the underlying strategies that drive them.

My Commitment to You
As an active trader, I am constantly analyzing market trends and refining my tools to keep up with the latest advancements in algorithmic trading.
My mission is to give you the edge you need—whether you’re managing a prop account, building a portfolio, or just getting started.
I’m committed to creating robust, high-performance solutions that allow you to trade smarter, not harder.

I believe in building long-term relationships with my clients, so your feedback and success are always important to me.
If you have any questions, need advice, or simply want to discuss strategies, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m here to ensure your trading journey is as successful as possible.
Thank you for considering my tools for your trading endeavors. I look forward to helping you achieve your trading goals!

Through algorithmic trading, you will develop discipline and patience—core traits for consistent performance. These bots will enforce rule-based execution, removing emotional bias and promoting data-driven decision-making. Over time, you'll learn that edge comes from systematic testing, risk management, and long-term consistency. Each trade, whether a win or a loss, becomes part of a feedback loop that sharpens both your strategy and your mindset. Once you’ve set up the bot, let it work.
Avoid the urge to micromanage every trade. Trust in the strategy and parameters you’ve defined.

Bull Bear Pip counter EA menu

Supports multiple timeframes for pip calculations with configurable lookback periods.

Example:
Set the lookback period to 2 days on the H4 timeframe.
The EA will analyse all H4 candles within those 2 days (12 candles in total), count the number of bullish and bearish candles, calculate the total pips for each direction, and identify the dominant market bias.
You can then trade in the direction with the stronger bullish or bearish momentum.

Jason Smith 2026.07.31

It's that fresh—just look at the name it has :)

Jason Smith 2026.07.31

I have another fully featured bot (Alligator) that I was considering making the source code freely available through the CodeBase here on MQL5.

Jason Smith 2026.07.31

This EA is a fully automated trading bot built from the Bull Bear pip counter indicator logic.
It takes the manual visual analysis and turns it into an auto-trading system that scans the market, detects when bulls or bears are dominating based on cumulative pip movement, and automatically executes buy or sell trades with built-in risk management.

Perfect for traders who want to capitalize on strong directional momentum without constantly monitoring the charts - the bot does the analysis, triggers signals, calculates ATR-based stop losses and take profits, and manages positions automatically, all while displaying real-time stats on your chart so you always know what it's doing.

Jason Smith 2026.07.31

I have more products ready to upload, but I'm not quite ready to get around to it yet.

Jason Smith 2026.07.31

This MT5 indicator is a weighted market strength meter that measures the true force behind price action by calculating total pip ranges of bullish vs bearish candles over a set period - giving you a clear "who's in control"
I also created an Expert Advisor (EA) based on this indicator.
Both the indicator and the EA are almost complete.
I just haven't finished the product pages and adverts yet, so they're still a work in progress.
The indicator will be available for free, while the Expert Advisor (EA) will be a paid product.

Jason Smith 2026.07.31

I designed and developed this indicator from the ground up, and the EA version turned out really well.

Anchor bot was primed a few days ago on all Forex pairs (28) and was set at 1% of the daily percentage movement.

The D1 chart is only being shown for clarity.
The timeframe itself is irrelevant, as the position was calculated and placed based on percentage movement rather than a specific time period.

Amazing bot — a powerful EA --> This is in the same league as Pro 15.
Note:- Inverse mode enabled.

With the Markov Matrix, Pro 15, or this bot, there is a level of edge that is extremely rare.

The combination of these tools creates a serious opportunity for traders who are looking for something beyond the standard approach.
There is enough potential here to seriously consider stepping away from what you are currently doing and getting involved.

I’m still fine-tuning the Markov Matrix and have been working on it every single day for the past 6 months.

At this stage, all I can say is that the results and potential I’m seeing are extremely promising.
If it can continue to perform the way I have planned and intended, then this could be something very special.

Jason Smith 2026.07.31

Anchor Bot has been uploaded and has successfully passed all verification checks. The only thing left to do is hit the publish button.

Release the Kraken - Why use the pro version - Lower fees (the biggest reason)

The basic app is convenient but convenience costs money.
Instant buying/selling generally includes a higher fee structure and spread.

Kraken Pro uses a maker/taker fee model, where fees are based on trading volume and are generally much lower for active users.

Jason Smith 2026.07.30

I see a potential triple top forming on Bitcoin (D1) around the $67k level, and I expect price could eventually reach that area.
Price has just broken above $64k, so the question is whether it continues higher than 67k or pulls back from it.
Either way, the focus isn’t on predicting every move — it’s about trading the opportunities along the way and managing the moves until price reaches that target area.

I’m not trading the GBP/CHF pair itself.
I’m converting my GBP into Swiss francs (CHF) and holding the currency directly.
When I see an edge or an opportunity, I then convert the CHF into another currency within a different currency group and continue moving between currencies.

The idea is not to trade individual pairs, but to rotate capital between different currencies by tracking relative strength and weakness across currency groups and moving into the currencies showing the best opportunities.

Jason Smith 2026.07.30

MetaQuotes will be happy to know that I’m able to do this using eight MT5 terminals running simultaneously 24/5. I don’t use them to trade from; I use them as a powerful analysis tool to help me find my edge. MT5 is an incredible tool with the flexibility and capability to monitor multiple markets, analyse relationships, and uncover opportunities that would be difficult to see otherwise.

Jason Smith 2026.07.30

To convert the currencies, you can use Kraken Pro. It offers more advanced trading tools, lower fees in many cases, and a better experience for placing and managing trades.
Kraken is primarily a cryptocurrency exchange, but it also lets you convert one currency to another within the platform. For example, you can convert GBP to USD or exchange one cryptocurrency for another

Jason Smith 2026.07.30

Regarding the 8 MT5 terminals, we use them to create a currency strength heat map. It's a bit too much to explain in a comment box, so give me a little time and I'll put together a proper post showing exactly how it works. I also have a unique way of using trade copiers that I haven't seen anyone else use. I'll try to cover that in a separate post as well.

A rose that grew from a crack in the concrete.🌹

Jason Smith 2026.07.30

I came from the gutter, 100%. I’ve faced challenges, made mistakes, learned from them, and kept pushing forward. If I can improve, overcome obstacles, and build something better for myself, then you can too. No matter where you start, your future is shaped by the choices you make and the effort you put in every day.

Jason Smith 2026.07.30

Until the world blows, we will excel

No matter how long things go on or how difficult life becomes, we will keep pushing forward and continue to succeed.
Progress and self-improvement won’t stop under any circumstances.

Jason Smith 2026.07.30

Life would get boring without constantly trying to improve, learn, and move forward. Progress and new challenges are what keep things interesting.

Jason Smith 2026.07.30

My goal is to understand the markets so well that I can trade them consistently and confidently. I want financial freedom—not just for myself, but so I can help others.

Jason Smith 2026.07.30

Thought of the day - Directional FX trading, Synthetic currency pair trading.

Trading the synthetic GBP/CHF pair.
Taking a directional position on the synthetic GBP/CHF market.
Trading a synthetically routed FX cross on Kraken.

Kraken provides a synthetic GBP/CHF market where the exchange rate is derived through underlying currency markets rather than a direct GBP/CHF order book.
By buying CHF with GBP and later selling it back, I am taking a directional spot FX position, essentially betting on CHF strengthening or weakening against GBP.

Jason Smith 2026.07.30

Getting fed up with Bitcoin and spot trading, so I’m looking for something new to explore.
I’ll keep you updated on how it goes.

Jason Smith 2026.07.30

I haven’t fully got my head around it yet or figured out exactly how to do it successfully, but I think I have an edge. I just need to work out the correct way to execute it. Fees and costs are going to be an important factor, and you need to use Kraken Pro for it.

Jason Smith 2026.07.30

My plan is simple. I have a unique way of analysing currency groups rather than just looking at individual pairs. I can see all the pairs within a group and track how they move relative to each other over time, almost like a live heat map that updates on the fly.
This allows me to spot relationships, strength, weakness, and potential opportunities across the whole currency group rather than focusing on one pair at a time. Example: Start with £1,000 GBP and move through a currency cycle: GBP → CHF → JPY → GBP → USD The idea is to convert GBP into CHF, then CHF into Japanese yen, then convert the yen back into GBP, and finally move into USD. By tracking the relationships between these currencies, I can look for pricing differences or opportunities within the currency group.

Jason Smith 2026.07.29

At the start of each trading week, the Markov bots remain inactive until 02:30 GMT. They then trade automatically without interruption until 21:30 GMT on Friday.

Matrix movie - The world has been pulled over our eyes to blind us from the truth.

That line captures a feeling many people have: that the visible story of the world is not the whole story — that there are deeper forces shaping events that ordinary people do not always see.

Thought of the day - Future generations will struggle to understand it

We can predict the results.
Hugh number of innocent people killed, economic destruction, famine, mass migration and deepening authoritarianism at home.
That's what they're demanding because that's what they want.
What can we do to stop it. Nothing

Jason Smith 2026.07.29

If oil declines, AI/data centers consume huge amounts of electricity and water, and robots become widespread, what happens to society?

Jason Smith 2026.07.29

The people who understand those shifts early — energy, computing, automation, finance, demographics — are often the ones best positioned to adapt.

Open letter to MQL5 -

I have four major upgrades ready for products that are already on the Market.
On top of that, I have three really good indicators finished and ready to upload which are free, and I already have a very exclusive EA uploaded that just needs to be published.

At this point, though, I can't be bothered anymore.
This place is deader than dead.
The exposure is virtually nonexistent, and the support for developers is close to zero.

MQL is a scam dont waste your time here - I have money in my wallet and I cant even withdraw it - because bullshiit MQL cant send me money in my debit card and says I should use some other country debit card - imagine how stupid this is - dont waste your time here

Jason Smith 2026.07.24

If a bot is executing a well-known, clearly defined strategy such as a moving average crossover, the logic is transparent and easily verifiable.
The bot either executes that strategy faithfully or it does not.
If it executes it faultlessly, the bot itself is functionally perfect regardless of whether the underlying strategy ultimately proves profitable or not.

The failure of the strategy in live market conditions has nothing to do with the bot's execution or coding quality and everything to do with the inherent limitations of that particular approach.

A black box EA where the strategy is entirely unknown warrants legitimate suspicion.
There is no way to verify whether the logic is sound, properly tested, or even functional.
The buyer must trust the vendor completely, and in a marketplace saturated with charlatans, that trust is rarely justified.

By contrast, a bot that executes a well-known strategy flawlessly cannot be faulted.
The code works, the logic is transparent, and the execution is precise.
If the strategy fails, it is the strategy itself that is inadequate, not the bot.
The bot cannot be blamed for faithfully carrying out what it was designed to do.
The suspicion should not fall on the bot's execution but on whether any widely known strategy can possibly provide a sustained edge in modern markets.

Freelance section on MQL5 —

Is this some kind of joke, or is the system rigged?
Honestly, it could be both.

Jason Smith 2026.07.24

The MQL5 Market becoming quieter -

Declining buyer activity, developers leaving or abandoning products, fewer innovative EAs being released, copycat products, pricing pressure, and negative reviews.
Overall, it portrays a marketplace where standing out and succeeding has become increasingly difficult.

I asked for my account to be deleted, as some of you may already know, but it was never removed. I didn’t ask for it to remain active. The only reason I’m still here is because my girlfriend is proud to see my work up close and support what I’ve been building.
