I was thinking of either giving away the source code for free or releasing the EA as a free product.
Traders, what do you prefer: free source code or a free product?
I’ll explain how to use it properly, so don’t let the menu put you off.
It’s very easy to configure, and I can also provide some set files if you prefer.
There are a lot of different combinations available, and it works on Forex too.
When the vsAvg turns Aqua, the EA opens a trade and uses the D1 daily percentages as the bias direction.
You can configure the percentage threshold as a minimum, giving you control over how strong the daily bias needs to be before a trade is taken.

With a demo account, there’s no real financial risk, so you can take as much time as you need to watch, learn, and see how it performs.
In gambling, many people can’t even handle a winning streak—they get carried away, increase their bets, and eventually blow everything they’ve made.
Whereas with this, the idea is to stay disciplined, manage the risk, and quietly compound the gains rather than throwing everything at the next trade.
And because it’s fully automated, there’s little to no psychology involved—no emotional decisions, no second-guessing, and no temptation to suddenly increase the risk.

Looking good and i have a certain asset performing extremely well over the last 12 weeks.
That will be kept quite.
The draw down allows me to work out the account size if i want the instrument at a base of just 1 mini, then using multipliers to push that down further to reduce exposure

I really think I could do it with just a $500 account, based on what I’ve seen so far. Then I can quietly compound it and build from there.

This is the real benefit of forward testing. I’ve got 3 month worth of data (trades) across forex, energy, crypto, metals and indices and 6 month of model learning which gives me a much clearer picture of how the strategy performs across different markets and conditions.

I'm not saying all these fights are rigged.
Take Mayweather vs. McGregor.
The whole thing was a show.
Mayweather admitted he "carried" McGregor to make him look good for the fans.
Oscar De La Hoya called it a "million-dollar fraud" and a "staged performance".
Bob Arum said Mayweather could have finished it in the second round if there wasn't so much money on the table

Even the UFC is at it.
I saw two fighters at a weigh-in having a big argument, pushing each other and swinging punches.
Then, right at the end, I saw them exchange sunglasses.
Talk about taking the fans for fools.
And when it comes to Conor McGregor, I’ve always questioned some of his fights.

McGregor looked like he was on drugs on stage. He kept looking himself up and down in his Gucci suit, and his behaviour seemed really erratic. The sunglasses exchange was covert—it was all prearranged bullshit. It wasn’t even McGregor’s fight conference, so why was he on stage? It was clearly to help sell tickets. Does the UFC really need to resort to this kind of dishonest bullshit when so many of the fights can speak for themselves?

When I was trading price action, I’d sometimes use bots and sometimes trade manually.
Now I’m fully into algo trading.
When things go bad, it’s easy to turn off the monitor, play some Call of Duty or whatever, and take another look later.

This EA trades the aqua-coloured areas you can see.
It’s quite a new system and was actually one I was planning to sell, but there doesn’t seem to be much interest in any of my work, so I don’t really see the point anymore.
It’s set to H12 ATR for both the stop loss and take profit — keeping it simple with a 1:1 risk-to-reward ratio.
I don’t know if it has a real edge yet.
It’s quite new, so time will tell.
I do zero backtesting because I believe it’s a rigged game.
The Strategy Tester is a brilliant idea and a valuable tool for developers, but I don’t put much faith in the backtest results. (ticks)
