This time I kept my GOLD trade way longer, and I was rewarded. 🙂

2/3 of the position reached their profit targets, the last one got stopped out during today's NY session.

GOLD starts to make fun, and I'm eagerly awaiting the next one. 😁

A perfect example for the strategy we published earlier today at https://www.mql5.com/en/blogs/post/754729

It worked perfectly fine on 5 GBP pairs and only 2 got stopped out due to the NFP news.

As you can see, I didn't expect the move to go that far, and so my profit targets left most of the move on the table.

Either way, the approach worked, even with this news event, and that's what counts. 💪

Gold trading was a bit like a rollercoaster today.

The first setup was a Dog Walk setup which reached at least a partial target before the remaining position was stopped out.

The second setup was a classic Breakout scenario which reached all 3 profit targets before it reversed.

All in all, a nice profit on a challenging day. 💪🙂

The long-awaited FX Power NG MT4 update is here.

Some users have told us that FX Power NG reacts very slowly, and we have found in internal tests that the identical program code in MT4 takes up to ten times longer than in MT5.

Nevertheless, Alain has managed to find a workaround that significantly improves performance. Unfortunately, this workaround comes at the expense of precision because it does not synchronize the data 100%, but from our perspective, the deviations are tolerable.

The FX Power NG MT4 version 4.22 now offers two calculation variants. The classic precise one, and the faster variant for a significant performance gain.

This allows you to compare and then decide for yourself which one you would prefer to use.
