Apple/Mac - Metatrader

I am planning to buy a Mac.
I'm testing everything out in advance so that the transition goes smoothly.
In the AppStore there is the Metatrader for Mac which can also be installed without problems.
But I can not use this with my trader account. 
It's like it doesn't even get through to the account server.
I can also use my broker's Meatrader through Wine. But how it works then is absolute junk.
 
In this thread, I'm looking for general tips first. Maybe it is a simple trick to follow and everything works.
Therefore, my question: Is there a special feature of Metatrader for Mac that I have to consider so that this connects to other tradeservers?

  1. Wir können hier deutsch sprechen :)
  2. Hast Du versucht das Paket für Mac von MQ zu installieren (s.u.)?
  3. Stell einmal oben rechts die Sprache auf Englisch und such dann (die Lupe gleich daneben) nach MT5 on Mac
    und dann wähle zuerst links Artikel und dann Forum - da gibt es nicht zu wenig,

als erstes vielen Dank.

1. Habe natürlich vergessen zu schreiben das es sich um den Metatrader 4 handelt. Aber okay danach kann ich suchen.
2. Mit Crossover habe ich den Trader meines Brokers am Laufen ab nichts geht wirklich. Rechte Maustaste "Order ändern" oder ähnliches. Alles Fehlanzeige.
3. Werde es die Woche mit dem Paket für Mac von MQ probieren. Wenn es damit läuft bin ich zufrieden.

Trotzdem nochmal gefragt. Es ist ja auch möglich den Metatrader 4 direkt aus dem AppStore für Mac zu installieren. Startet und läuft sehr gut. Aber ich bekomme ihn nicht mit meinem Live-Konto verbunden.
Hier wollte ich halt sicher gehen das ich nicht einfach nur was übersehe. So der berühmte kleine Haken und schon ist alles gut ;-)

mt4 lässt sich auf M1 Macs nicht installieren, MT5 auch nicht.

nun läuft es.
Ich habe das Packet nochmal neu installiert und dann ein paar mal auf Server neu laden geklickt.

Plötzlich ging es.
