One small tips for setting preparation with AIM.

Switch off Smart Trail stop and forget about it until very last minute of your optimization (i.e. Do optimization as you do in previous version).

After you have finished setting preparation for all currency pairs and gathered all set files in one folder, now you can think about using smart trail stop.

Update news for Price Breakout Pattern Scanner.

Our ongoing efforts of combining Price Breakout pattern Scanner with Smart Renko indicator is on its way. We are currently counting our update for version 3.7. We expect this will be done in next 5 working days.

Please read our update note below for your understanding.

================================ Update note =====================================

In version 3.7, Price Breakout Pattern Scanner can call the partial functionality of Smart Renko Indictors. However use of Smart Renko indicator is optional and user can decide not to use this Smart Renko partial Functionality (just use Price breakout pattern scanner as in previous version.).

There are some difference exists between MT5 Price Breakout Pattern Scanner and MT4 Price Breakout Pattern Scanner in calling Smart Renko indicator internally.

MT5 Price Breakout Pattern scanner can call most of functionality of Smart Renko indicator whereas MT4 Price Breakout Pattern Scanner can only use some functionality of Smart Renko Indicators. This is caused by the programming structure difference between MT4 and MT5 terminals(i.e. MT4 terminal does not use indicator handle yet.). This is beyond my programming ability.

However, the partial functionality of MT4 Price Breakout Pattern scanner can still offer much more clear entry and exit decision for traders. This is even more true for MT5 Price Breakout pattern Scanner.

To control Smart Renko Indicator from Price Breakout Pattern Scanner, user can control following inputs from Price Breakout Pattern scanner.

=========================== Input description ==========================

Brick Height Mode: choose between 0 and 1. Brick Height Mode 0 = User specified input for Brick height. Brick height Mode 1 = Automatic Calculation of Brick height using Standard deviation and z value.

Brick Height value: For Brick Height Mode 0, this is use specified pip value for brick height. For Brick Height Mode 1, this is z value for standard deviation. Sensible z value can range from 0.5 to 4. However mostly z value of 1.0, 1.68 and 1.96 is used in industry. If you are already familiar with Renko charting, then you must have some preference in your brick height. In such a case, just use Brick height Mode 0.

Bars to scan: This is count of bars in your current time frame where indicator is attached. Brick will be display on this bars.

Time Frame used for Brick Calculation: This is sub time frame to be used for brick calculation. Note that Smart Renko uses sub time frame to calculate brick and the brick will be displayed on current time frame.

Time Frame used to update Renko Chart: You can also choose different time frame for updating your chart. If Time Frame used to update Renko Chart = M1, then every 60 seconds the chart will be updated.

For June, we will finally use AIM version 11.7. AIM version 11.7 does not have upside limit for your profits. If price keep moving in your favour, then AIM will bank all the profit for you in your account. :)

We have found small bug in free margin calculation in version 11.6. But we fixed and released version 11.7.

Don't worry this is very minor issue.

Version 11.7 will be available before Tuesday next week.

Update news for AIM.

AIM new version (11.6) is now submitted for both MT4 and MT5 version.

So new version 11.6 will be availble in next couple of days for you to download.

There are some notable change in version 11.6.

Firstly it is smart Trail Stop Feature (please note that this feature is to improve performance of AIM in live trading. It won't work for open price mode. While optimizing main trading parameters, do not swtich off this Smart Trail Stop feature. Only enable them after your main trading parameters optimziation. ).

Secondly we have now use pip unit for the take profit and position deviation variable. We don't use any more point unit in AIM.

This means that now your need to set take profit range bewteen 20 pips and 60 pips whereas previosuly you have set take profit range between 200 points to 600 points (case of 5 digit brokers). The same goes for position deviation variable.

Please understand that pip unit is more standard approach used by forex industry. We want to bring our AIM for main stream auto trading business. This was inevitable change. I hope you understand our ambition toward AIM.

Except these two changes, rest of functionality remains the same between AIM 11.0 and 11.6.

Update News for AIM

Currently testing AIM with Smart Trail Stop Loss on M5 minutes demo account.
Just sharing the progress. This is just testing the functionality of Smart Trail Stop Loss.
So we use just set some random chart and random setting for the test.
