## Operating Principle
**Manual Order Manager PRO BTC** is an Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 designed to **automatically manage trades opened manually by the trader**.
The EA does not decide when to buy or sell. The user analyzes the market, chooses the direction, sets the lot size, and opens the position manually. From that point on, the system monitors the trade and applies the configured protection and management rules.
The goal is to help the trader maintain a more disciplined approach to trade management, reducing the need to manually adjust Stop Loss, Break Even, and other protections throughout the trade.

*** The EA respects the trader’s strategy: if the trader manually removes the Stop Loss or Take Profit, the system does not fight that decision. The initial SL is not automatically restored, and the TP remains removed unless the trader explicitly enables reapplication; profit-protection modules may act again only when the position returns to favorable conditions.
Recovery Safety Triggers
The EA uses two dedicated manual lot-size triggers to activate its basket protection mechanisms.
0.02 lot — Recovery Basket: when there is an existing losing basket with at least two eligible positions, a new manual 0.02 lot position opened in the opposite direction can activate Recovery Basket mode. Once armed, the EA monitors all basket members together, including eligible existing and new positions. The basket is only closed when the estimated consolidated net result is positive and reaches the configured target, after considering estimated exit costs, commission, slippage reserve and an additional safety buffer. The system does not intentionally close the Recovery Basket at zero or negative net result.
0.01 lot — Basket Break Even: a new manual 0.01 lot position opened in the same direction as an existing eligible position can activate Basket Break Even mode. This mode is designed to recover a stressed same-direction basket as a single unit. While active, individual profit-management actions are suspended for basket members and the EA prioritizes consolidated basket protection, including fixed break-even protection when its conditions are reached. Automatic basket closure also requires a positive net result after estimated costs and the configured safety buffer.
The two protection modes are mutually exclusive: only one basket strategy can remain active at a time. Both trigger lot sizes and their protection parameters can be adjusted in the EA inputs.
*** The lot sizes used as strategy triggers can be customized by the trader: change RECOVERY_TRIGGER_LOT to define the lot size that activates the Recovery Basket — for example, setting it to 0.03 means a 0.03 order in the opposite direction can act as the trigger — and change BASKET_BE_TRIGGER_LOT to define the lot size that activates Basket Break Even — for example, setting it to 0.05 means a new 0.05 order in the same direction can act as the trigger, provided the other strategy conditions are also met.

To customize the EA parameters, open the EA properties in MetaTrader 5 by pressing F7 or Alt+X, go to the Inputs tab, adjust the desired values, and click OK.
# Input Parameters
## General Management
- **MANAGE_ONLY_CHART_SYMBOL** — when enabled, the EA manages only the symbol of the chart where it is attached.
- **MANAGE_MODE** — defines which positions may be managed by the EA.
- **MANUAL_MAGIC** — Magic Number used to identify manual positions or specific groups.
- **MANAGED_MAGIC_LIST** — optional list of authorized Magic Numbers.
## Initial Stop Loss and Take Profit
- **APPLY_INITIAL_SL_IF_MISSING** — enables or disables automatic initial Stop Loss placement.
- **INITIAL_SL_PCT** — percentage distance of the initial Stop Loss.
- **APPLY_INITIAL_TP** — enables or disables the initial Take Profit.
- **INITIAL_TP_PCT** — percentage distance of the initial Take Profit.
- **ALLOW_INITIAL_SL_BROKER_ADJUST** — allows small adjustments required to comply with broker trading rules.
## Break Even
- **BE_TRIGGER_PCT** — profit percentage required to activate Break Even.
- **BE_LOCK_PCT** — positive percentage the EA attempts to lock after Break Even activation.
## Trading Cost Protection
- **COST_BUFFER_TRIGGER_PCT** — profit level required to activate additional cost protection.
- **COST_BUFFER_PCT** — protection margin used to help cover spread, commission, and other trading costs.
## Time-Based Protection
- **LOCK_AFTER_MIN** — minimum time, in minutes, before the additional time-based protection may be applied.
- **LOCK_30M_PCT** — protection percentage used by the time-lock module.
## Trailing Stop
- **TRAIL_START_PCT** — minimum profit required to start trailing.
- **TRAIL_MIN_PCT** — minimum percentage trailing distance.
- **TRAIL_ATR_PERIOD** — ATR calculation period.
- **TRAIL_ATR_K** — ATR multiplier used to calculate the dynamic trailing distance.
## MFE Profit Guard
- **MFE_START_PCT** — minimum favorable movement required before MFE protection begins.
- **MFE_LEVEL_2_PCT** — second position development level.
- **MFE_LEVEL_3_PCT** — third level.
- **MFE_LEVEL_4_PCT** — fourth level.
- **MFE_LOCK_RATIO_1 to MFE_LOCK_RATIO_4** — defines how much of the best favorable movement may be converted into protection at each stage.
## Regression and Partial Closing
- **REGRESSION_TRIGGER_COUNT** — number of valid regressions required before a partial close.
- **PARTIAL_CLOSE_PCT** — percentage of the position to be closed.
- **REGRESSION_NEAR_LEVEL_PCT** — distance used to determine whether price has returned close to the protection area.
- **REGRESSION_REARM_DISTANCE_PCT** — distance required before another regression can be counted.
- **REGRESSION_MIN_SECONDS_BETWEEN** — minimum time between two valid regression events.
- **POST_PARTIAL_REARM_PCT** — distance required to rearm the logic after a partial close.
- **POST_PARTIAL_EXIT_NEAR_PCT** — distance from the protection area used in the management of the remaining position.
## Time Stop and Failsafe
- **TIME_STOP_MIN** — time used by the prolonged-position management module.
- **TIME_STOP_CLOSE_ON_WEAKNESS** — enables or disables automatic closing due to weakness after the defined time.
- **DURATION_FAILSAFE_MIN** — time threshold for the additional safety module.
- **FAILSAFE_CLOSE_IF_PROFIT** — defines whether the failsafe module may automatically close a profitable position.
## Recovery Basket
- **RECOVERY_BASKET_MODE** — controls the Recovery Basket module:
- `RBM_OFF` — disabled;
- `RBM_MONITOR_ONLY` — monitors and logs only;
- `RBM_ACTIVE` — active management.
- **RECOVERY_TRIGGER_LOT** — lot size used as the strategy trigger.
- **RECOVERY_TARGET_BALANCE_PCT** — positive basket target based on account balance percentage.
- **RECOVERY_MIN_NET_PROFIT_MONEY** — minimum net profit required.
- **RECOVERY_CLOSE_SAFETY_BUFFER_MONEY** — additional safety buffer before basket closing.
- **RECOVERY_EXIT_SLIPPAGE_RESERVE_PCT** — reserve used to account for possible slippage during basket closing.
When Recovery Basket is set to `RBM_OFF`, the configured trigger lot can be used as a normal lot size.
## Basket Break Even
- **BASKET_BE_MODE** — controls the Basket Break Even module:
- `BBE_OFF` — disabled;
- `BBE_MONITOR_ONLY` — monitoring only;
- `BBE_ACTIVE` — active management.
- **BASKET_BE_TRIGGER_BY_LOT_ENABLED** — enables or disables activation by lot size.
- **BASKET_BE_TRIGGER_LOT** — lot size used as the Basket Break Even trigger.
- **BASKET_BE_POSITION_BE_TRIGGER_PCT** — profit required before a fixed Break Even can be applied to a basket position.
- **BASKET_BE_TARGET_MONEY** — basket target when monetary mode is selected.
- **BASKET_BE_TARGET_BALANCE_PCT** — alternative target based on account balance percentage.
- **BASKET_BE_MIN_POSITIVE_MONEY** — minimum positive amount required.
- **BASKET_BE_CLOSE_SAFETY_BUFFER_MONEY** — additional safety buffer before closing.

When `BASKET_BE_MODE = BBE_OFF`, the configured trigger lot is treated as a normal lot size.
