I just bought this Equity Protector EA today, and I am sure that it is going to be a big help!

One question: How does the EA determine the intial value, to measure from?

For example, I have it set to close all trades when profit equals $1000, but from where does it measure this $1000? 

Is it from whateve the price was when I set up the EA?

In this case I would need to "reinitialze" the EA, each time I want to set a new level to measure from? 

Please let me know how to correctly understand the stop loss and take profit levels that the EA is using.

Hi Robert,

It records the account balance and equity when you add the EA to the chart. 

The EA measures the stop loss and profit target using the initial recorded values of balance and equity. 

Once it reaches the SL/TP target, EA closes all the active orders (including pending orders) and closes down all other charts to prevent further trading by other expert advisors (depending on your settings). 

From this point, you'll have to reinitialize the EA to resume the trading operations on your account, and doing so will record the new balance and equity to execute the next cycle.

I have been facing some issues with this EA. I set it up for a account with this setting but the problem is This EA close all charts when Another EA take a trades. Could you please let me know whats wrong with the setting?

Bonsoir. Lorsque je choisis le mode de calcul absolut, que dois-je mettre dans les paramètres ? Le montant de mon équité à laquelle l'EA coupe les positions, ou bien le montant total de perte journalière que j'autorise ? Exemple : mon équité du jour=5100 et je choisis le mode de calcul absolue. Si je ne veux pas perdre plus de $100, je dois mettre dans les paramètres 100 ou bien c'est 5000?

En mode absolu avec votre exemple, vous devez mettre un stop loss d'équité de 5000.

The MT4 and MT5 versions are separate products, so they must be purchased separately.

I'm abit confused on the settings. Example if my balance is $5,000 and I would like to set the Stop Loss at 10% (stop when account value hits $4500) of my starting balance.

Do I set Stop Loss in Account Currency to $4,500 or set to $500? Thank you.

If relative mode, set to $500. 

If absolute mode, set to $4500.

Algo Trading is disabled on your MT5. Please click on Algo Trading button to enable it. 

this is such a simple and great feature that one must own.  i bought both the MT4 and MT5 version.
