I bought the copier, I have few questions:

a) To copy MT5 (EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD) to MT4 I just need to buy once Sonic Trade Copier and it worked in both terminals, correct? Or there are two versions one for MT5 server other to MT4 client?

b) To copy several pairs I need to put all the pairs in symbols file, in line 1, separated by commas. Correct? If my symbols are of the same name in both terminals I don't need line 2. Correct?

c) Can I install one MT5 server and one MT5 client + two MT4 clients?  I have 4 accounts two on MT5 and two on MT4.

Well now I bought the EA for MT4 so only need to clarify:

To copy several pairs trades from server I just have to attach once the EA to one Chart, not one on each pair chart?

Answer1- yes thats right,format is shown in the video.

Answer2-   Line1= allowed symbols comma splitted ie = EURUSD,GBPUSD
                  Line2= Translations ie = EURUSD|EURUSDf,GBPUSD|GBPUDf

if you dont want to use translation keep it empty

Good day. Using the copier for about a week now, Only do local copying of an account on same machine as account where sonictrader is running.

Sometimes the trades do not close as per the "master" sender account. This is a huge risk.

Is there a setting i can use to improve this.

Only trading on MT5.

I did not set any symbol settings.

I purchased the Sonic MT5 trade copier.. I can setup the Sender Signal OK in MT5..

But how do I RECEIVE this signal in another MT4 account on same terminal????

1/ Do I install FREE MT4 trade copier?

2/ OR must I purchase MT4 version????

MT5 2.14 works.. send & receive signal1.. MT5 to MT4.

MT5 2.17 doesnt work MT5 to MT4. .. doesnt close.

Just wish you would test your products before release.. you know.. a simple buy sell limit test. Instead of using your buyers to test your work. after all we are using on LIVE accounts.

1/ No manual for this EA. Just trial & error.

2/ I noticed that Farrukh insists ALL signals are named signal1? Why? Does signal2 work OR not work?

3/ Can two "signal1" work ok on same terminal? I doubt it.

4/ as always Farrukh can only answer 1 question per day.. this is just so painful.

hello signal 1 is used for simplicity you can use any name just don't put special symbols in it.

I use ea on regular basis its copying on my several accounts.

I´m copying from MT4 (sender) to MT5 (receiver), but not all the trades are copied. It seems that when two or more trades are issued one after the other in the sender, only the first one is copied, or opened on the receiver. Do you know why? Is there a way to catch all the trades?

Before starting ea turn on debug in inputs , read expert logs if you see any error.

I´m using default settings, so I copy all the trades exactly as the sender, only open to 50 the range. I didn´t put any option to the settings. The symbols file has only one line: 

Can I stop the EAs when there are positions copied? I think I have debug off. But I don´t know if the EA will take again the opened trades.

Note: I had two issues I already read up on this comments:

a) When the sender open more than one trade let say at the same time, the receivers only take the first one. 

b) When you have several positions on the same pair (martingale or grid mode), and you close all positions, it sometimes happened that one of the positions is not closed on the receiver.

Unfortunately it happened days ago, and I didn´t copied the journal or expert messages.

Thinks I think I learned: You need to have the symbol shown on the market watch window of the MT4 or MT5 of the receiver, other case the receiver will not open the trade.

it must have 2 lines , line 1 is allowed symbols , line 2 is symbol translation .

if you dont have to translate symbol you can use string like  EURUSD|EURUSD,

Yes market symbol must be in market watch.

There are 2 copying engines 1-PUF partial update 2-FUF full update

partial update copies all single movements , Full update synchronizes positions [tries to make same position as on sender means can copy later if same price is found.]

I'm copying from MT4 (usd) to MT5 (eur) account, but when I do a partial close in MT4 it closes completely the position in MT5. Is there a way to configure that the receiver closes only the lot size it's closes in the sender?

When the position is open the lot size is exactly the same even with different type of money in the accounts (usd and eur).

Hi , i tried serveral brokers in mt4 was not able to find a broker supporting partial close in mt4.

Hi, I'm using IC-Markets standard accounts, MT4 and MT5. When I manually click in the terminal over x in the profit column (see terminalProfit image, I'm talking about the small cross at the end), it open the close window and I'm able to change (reduce) the lot size and close (take partial profits). But Sonic trade copier close full lot size on the receiver accounts.

Other way I tried is that I use a Control Panel EA and set to close 50% of the lot size (TP1) automatically, but Sonic Trade Copier close the full size on the receiver accounts.
