Description
XAU Watch is an automated trading system developed specifically for XAUUSD (Gold).
The strategy identifies structured price channels during predefined market periods and waits for confirmed breakouts before entering the market.
XAU Watch does not use Grid or Martingale systems. Each trading session is analyzed independently, and the EA is designed to execute a maximum of one trade per session.
The strategy combines structured breakout entries with an advanced position and risk management engine.

Risk Management
XAU Watch calculates its initial Stop Loss from the market structure rather than using an arbitrary fixed distance from the entry.
When risk-based position sizing is selected, the EA automatically calculates the appropriate trading volume according to the actual distance between the execution price and the structural Stop Loss.
This allows the trader to define the amount of capital exposed to each trade while the EA adapts position size to current Gold volatility.
Minimum Capital Requirements
There is no universal minimum account balance because XAU Watch supports configurable risk management.
For practical use, the following account sizes are recommended:
Minimum recommended balance: US$1,000
Preferred balance: US$2,500 or higher
For smaller accounts, use conservative risk settings and verify that the calculated position size is compatible with your broker's minimum XAUUSD trading volume.
Risk per trade should always be selected according to the trader's account size, broker conditions and personal risk tolerance.
XAU Watch does not require increasing position sizes after losses and does not use Martingale recovery.
Setup Instructions

Attach XAU Watch to an XAUUSD chart.

Enable Algo Trading.

Select your preferred risk management mode.

Define the amount or percentage you are willing to risk per trade.

Load the recommended XAU Watch settings when applicable.

Backtest the configuration using your broker's XAUUSD historical data before live trading.
Optimized Settings
Optimized parameter presets are available for XAU Watch.
The provided optimization settings are designed for XAUUSD and include the principal strategy parameters such as trading session, channel structure, breakout confirmation, structural Stop Loss, Take Profit distribution and trailing-stop management.
Users are encouraged to backtest the settings using their own broker data before live deployment.

Broker specifications, spreads, commissions, execution quality and historical data can produce different results between trading accounts.
