Just wanted to share, this EA is pretty good for a consistent profit.

Made 43% of my deposit in 1 month of trading by just trading 3 pairs with 0.01 lot each running at TF M30, using the aggresive with trailing setfiles.

Hi Adnan, 

I have finally bought Trend Tracker so hopefully it will work out well. 

I have a question for you about your live account. What lot size are you using on the 5 pairs you list? Actually it would be good to have the exact settings. I am running on the 5 pairs you mention using the time frames you mention and a lot size of 0.02 on each.  But I would like to know what you used to make your profit.

TrendTracker may need a little while to close trades depending on the market conditions, it's very careful. \
What settings are you using? You can find several set files in this post. I use the SaadTrendTracker_Aggressive_WithTrailing.set. \
\
I can only recommend using the same currency pairs as Adnan's live signal, those work extremely well for this algorithm and do not forget to set your magic numbers correctly! \

As for back-testing you may need to get more history for the higher time-frames to make that work properly. \

to be honest I have profit trailing enabled but never saw any significant difference from my target profits (I never tried the other presets). But if I understand correctly you are supposed to be in draw-down and have multiple buys or sells open but that barely ever happens. I do get the occasional +1.12 or +1.09 profits so maybe that's profit trailing too? Maybe Adnan can shed some light on this, especially the parameters...

  • Trail the Order- True/False. True to enable trailing profit. Trailing is internal hard coded and accumulative profit for all opened positions of similar type.
  • Trailing Start in Pips - As per user experience or 20
  • Trailing Stop in Pips - As per user experience or 10 and must be less than Trailing Start value

Problem with this description is I have no user experience yet so what does Start and Stop actually do?

I purchased the SAAD TT recently and ready to install it on my computer. When I clicked on "Install" on the Market window it asks to enter my MQL5.community password to confirm the installation. I entered the password and clicked "Get Activation" and came back with password invalid. I tried 3,4 times but in vain. I can log in the MQL5 community with no issues. Can you shed some light how to fix this?

Hi Henry, 

Infact Trailing StopLoss is included due to request on many users. I am also not using it although it is a good feature and as per my testing more fruitful on higher TF like M30.  But for M30, it require patience that normally we as a trader dont have :). Please note that its algorithm is based on Accumulative profit of all opened trades of same type. This is the reason I have to hardcode Trailing Stop. But its mechanism is visible in statistics as per below image TrailSell and TrailBuy. Once profit is locked and trailing start we can see in statistics.

Can I trade 8 currency pairs?

Recommendations

  • For back testing, please make sure you must have historical data for TF under testing, Daily and H1 for time duration to test to get accurate results.
  • This EA takes decision at closing of candle, you can perform test on open prices.
  • Best currency pairs that are less volatile and most of the time ranging: EURUSD, AUDUSD, AUDCAD etc.
  • Split your lotsize into 5 or 6 pairs instead of taking high risk on one currency pair: Run EA for TF M30 on 5 to 6 currency pairs.
