Its algorithm is moving around for accumulative profit for all open trades of same type. If trend is opposite of initial trades, most of the loosing trades are cleared on retracement. Normally retracement is 25% to 50% so as per best practice it is going fine.

But there is feature available for trailing profit, if you need you can utilize this for scenario trades more than 1.

Entry Strategy is same, Exit strategy is totally different. EA is using TrendTracker internally .

It is counting accumulative profit for all trades profit+losses and swaps. Commission is not counted.

How to update

Find the SAAD TrendTracker expert in your Market tab and you will see an Update button, just click it and it will install the new version automatically.

I find that, on smaller time frames, fast moves will just rip you up in no time, or sonner or later.

I use IG too, so should be able to help with your question.

IG use minilots (10,000 units) instead of using standard lots (100,000 units).  Their minimum lot size is also 0.1 as opposed to 0.01.  Therefore we need to adjust the 'Target Pips' size accordingly.  To make a typical SAAD Trend Tracker $1 profit, at a lot size of 0.1, set your 'Target Pips' size to 1.  You shouldn't need to change anything else.  At this level you should use an account size of $200 per pair (i.e. if trading 5 pairs, use $1,000).

If you're using 0.01, is this on the 'Demo' account?  I've noticed that the figures on the demo account do not translate to the figures they use on the real account.

Have sorted it, my account is in SEK and 10 pips equals 0.12$ so i have to change lot size to 0.1,  will start at 0.05 

I use Live account and it works fine, made 18 SEK in profit since yesterday evening 

I am slightly nervous, Adnan your live signal is making trades that my own is not and I have been making trades on identical settings as my friend who has not made a single trade in 2 days...

Something seems wrong here, did you change something on your live signal settings without updating the description, are you trailing profit now? You said all pairs are now running on M5, is that true?

Correction, my friend updated SAAD TrendTracker during the time a trade opened on my end that he now didn't have so it just looked like he got no activity for 2 days. But your live signal is doing all sorts of crazy things. :S

Is this problem only with your friend terminal side. Or you are also facing this issue.

Will you please confirm if he is getting any error messages and which TF he is using. My Live signal since long running on M5 and I am using setfile without trailing for all except USDJPY. For USDJPY I am using set file with trailing.

we were using the time-frames you have in your live signal description (please change it!):

Signal Based on SAAD Trend Tracker. 

Mixed Time frames, currently USDJPY TF M5, AUDUSD TF M5, EURUSD TF M5, AUDJPY TF M15, EURAUD TF M30.  

After setting my own SAAD TrendTrackers to M5 on all currency pairs I got faster trades like you so I am very happy.
My friend did not have any errors but luckily a trade opened this morning so it took nearly 3 days but it finally continued trading. He too will be setting all of them to M5.

It was just so strange that you had activity while we did not for several days but it all makes sense now.

Phew, nothing broken after the update, was starting to panic! :)
