Kiwi MACD Bot MT4

Kiwi MACD Bot MT4 is an automated trading Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 4 that combines a MACD-based seed entry engine with an intelligent grid basket management system.

The EA is designed to identify trading opportunities using MACD momentum and direction, then automatically manage BUY and SELL baskets with configurable grid, profit-target and drawdown-protection controls.

The default configuration uses the Normal trading profile, MACD Hybrid mode, and M15 higher-timeframe confirmation for a balance between trade frequency and signal filtering.

MACD Seed Entry Engine

Kiwi MACD Bot uses the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator as the primary entry engine.

The EA includes several MACD trading modes:

MACD Trend — follows MACD direction to identify continuation opportunities.

MACD Cross — looks for fresh MACD main-line and signal-line crossovers.

MACD Zero Cross — identifies directional momentum as MACD crosses the zero level.

MACD Hybrid — combines MACD direction, crossover and confirmation logic. This is the recommended default mode.

Higher-Timeframe Confirmation

The EA can confirm trading signals using MACD information from a higher timeframe.

The recommended default configuration uses:

Trading Profile: Normal
MACD Mode: Hybrid
Higher-Timeframe Filter: M15

The signal timeframe is handled internally, so the EA does not need to rely entirely on the timeframe of the chart where it is attached.

Three Trading Profiles

The EA provides three selectable trading profiles:

Conservative — stronger filtering and fewer trading opportunities.

Normal — DEFAULT — balanced filtering and trading frequency.

Frequent — relaxed filtering designed to identify more trading opportunities.

This allows traders to adjust the entry frequency without redesigning the underlying strategy.

Smart Grid Basket Manager

After a seed trade is opened, the EA can manage additional positions through its built-in grid basket system.

Grid controls include:

• Adjustable maximum orders

• Adjustable grid distance

• Lot multiplier

• Minimum time between grid additions

• BUY and SELL basket management

• Money-based or balance-percentage profit targets

• Break-even and basket profit management

• Automatic and manual seed trading

BUY and SELL baskets are monitored independently.

Built-In Drawdown Protection

Risk control is integrated directly into the EA.

The default protection structure includes:

BUY Basket Drawdown: 5%
SELL Basket Drawdown: 5%
Master Balance Drawdown: 40%

The BUY and SELL drawdown controls operate independently, while the Master Drawdown provides an additional account-level protection layer.

Drawdown limits do not guarantee that losses cannot exceed the selected percentage because market gaps, slippage, execution conditions and rapidly changing prices can affect actual results.

Interactive Trading Dashboard

Kiwi MACD Bot includes an on-chart dashboard for monitoring and controlling the system.

From the dashboard, traders can:

• Select Conservative, Normal or Frequent profile

• Enable or disable automatic seed trading

• Adjust seed lot size

• Change grid distance

• Change maximum grid orders

• Adjust lot multiplier

• Select BUY/SELL direction

• Change basket exit settings

• Apply new settings

• Monitor BUY basket status
