I am a trader that uses MT4 on the FX market. One of my strategies is part scalping so I need fast execution speeds to really benefit from it. This strategy is automated (Expert Advisor)

My broker offers FIX API- FIX (Financial Information Exchange) API (application programming interface) for its clients. I am currently in the process of looking for a programmer to build or customise an API connection software for me that I can use my current EA automated strategy on.


My broker and my VPS provider are cross connected with liquidity providers in LD4 data centre.


One thing my broker advised me is the following:

 

Most important thing is latency. If there is more than 10 to 20ms of latency from when your system triggers an order and that order is confirmed as received on our side... you may as well be using MT4.


If we go ahead with this project, can you ensure that the latency would be less than 10ms – 20ms?
