Wick detector

Good day coders,

the indicator I need is aimed to calculate a moving average of the difference in pips between the upper and lower wick of a bar.

Following the formula for the calculation of the indicator,assuming:

- uw=upper wick

- lw=lower wick

- h=bar high

- l=bar low

- o=bar open

- c=bar close

- d=difference between uw and lw (uw-lw)

- i=indicator output

- p=periods of a moving average of i

- ma=moving average(p) of i

- ut=upper threshold above which a sound alarm must ring (if i>ut)

- lt=lower threshold below which a sound alarm must ring (if i<lt)

Calculation of wicks,depending on bullish or bearish bar:

If bullish,then uw=(h-c); lw=(o-l)

If bearish,then uw=(h-o); lw=(c-l)

Calculation of the indicator output:

i=ma(p) of d

The customizable parameters should be:

- p

- ut

- lt

Beside the sound alarm,the indicator should generate a popup window indicating the pair the alarm belongs to.
