you could add a new logic that goes like this:

- for up trend: indicator will only print another new higher high after a new higher low is created 

- for down trend: indicator will only print another new lower low after a new lower high is created

You can already achieve stronger filtering using the indicator settings (by increasing the number of candles on the left and right), which helps keep only more significant fractals.
