Today, I'm happy to introduce DARWIN SWING!!!

He is an Expert Advisor who works on 28 pairs.

His main strategy is Swing trading ( for those who don't know, go to Google :) )

This EA will use support and resistance to open positions, but it is much more complex than that.

 

Darwin swing uses an average of the trends made for each pair.

It takes into account the number of S/E's that a pair "X" has the habit of crossing before making a correction.

As soon as the breakout begins, Darwin will start opening virtual positions, which are visible on the EA Dashboard.

You can see every breakout that is taking place, but everything is happening virtually.

When the price crosses "X" support and resistance (programed in the EA code, and different for each pair) then Darwin Swing will open a real position.

 

What is the point of opening virtual positions?

 

Simply to limit the DD and increase your profits.

There is no EA swing that works in the market, none... and if you know of one, let me know.

At some point, you will have a lot of unplanned DD.

A DD is not a problem as long as you know how much the EA makes, you adjust your risk accordingly to that DD

This is the problem with EAs, it is often very difficult to know what DD he will make, and therefore choose the appropriate risk.

 

A normal swing EA will open as soon as it crosses or corrects on an S/R.

Darwin Swing will take into consideration that often, unfortunately... the price doesn't necessarily bounce on that S/R, but goes much further before making its correction.

 

That's why we open virtual positions, which allow us to not have this DD.

 

In case the real position is open and the price does not correct, Darwin will open another position on a further S/R.

You have to take into consideration that the fall or rise of a price is not unlimited.

Sometimes, of course, it is greater than expected, which provides an unusual DD, but it is never permanent.

If you understand that Darwin Swing already has price factors into consideration, as it leaves before opening a lot of S/R, then you will understand that the chances of having a huge DD is very limited.

Because the price will not or very rarely cross 10 S/R......

 

All this is the strategy in general.

Darwin will, of course, use many more indicators and signals before making the decision to open.

Even the virtual position is subject to these indicators, i.e. even the virtual position already has big restrictions before it opens.

In the last few weeks we have had big movements, one could almost say "crashes", for some pairs, and Darwin Swing has done very well.

It was not voluntary, but I started in very, very bad conditions.

I should mention that they did not start at the same time, so they cannot be synchronized.

It will take 1 to 2 weeks for the accounts to be synchronized.

Because the account that starts before creates virtual positions, of course, before the second one.

 

These two accounts are set for a maximum DD of 20% (compared to the backtest)

Of course, the risk is adjustable and you can have more or less, according to your taste.

 

I will provide you with a calculator.

 

You will simply have to enter the size of your capital, the selected risk, and you will get the drawdown and a simulation of the profits.

All the information in the calculator is done in relation to the backtest.

I advise you to take a 25% margin on the indicated drawdown, because remember that a backtest is an indication of the history.

As reliable as it is, and done in all honesty, one day or another you may have more. ( It’s the same thing for all the EAs )

A good backtest is reliable, but you have to know how to interpret the indications.

 

For example, is an EA that averages 5% DD really bad if one day it does 40% DD once in 10 years?

What do you think? Can we consider that he makes 40% of DD or 5% of DD?

That's why I personally like to stop certain EA's in certain market conditions.

An EA is like a machine, if you push it to the limit constantly, one day it breaks.

An EA is a tool, you have to know how to use it.

As I say, just because you have a good hammer, doesn't mean you'll be a good carpenter.

 

This got me thinking about a last-minute change, which delayed the arrival of the EA.

I thought it would be nice to be able to pause the EA.

I built a button into the dashboard that will pause the actual positions only.

Your EA still works, it still places virtual orders, but if the price hits the S/R "X" level, it will not open a position.

The idea is that if the market is bad, or you stop the EA on a Friday before NFP for example today.

We'll imagine that the EA should open a real position, but since you're paused it doesn't happen.

The price keeps going in the wrong direction, you would have had DD.... But not because of the pause.

On Monday when the market opens, you remove the pause, the EA will open at a better level than it would have before.

Technically, it's like copying a DD position, but you are in profit.

Your position will be closed very quickly with the expected profits and without DD

 

The bigger the trend, the bigger the correction.

I would invite you to do some demo tests before you start using these options.

 

The EA is complex, but can be extremely powerful.

 

At the "software" level this EA is much lighter than Darwin Evolution, because it runs on a single chart.

All Darwin swing demo accounts will be stopped.
I will keep them online ( 1 months because without order MQL5 will erase it ) , but I will stop the orders.

The real accounts will take over.

This is done so that the strategy is not copied for free on the demo accounts.

You will be able to see the performance on 3 real accounts MT4, MT5 and an MT4 signal with more risk.

Many seller abuses, and make false reviews, then MQL5 has set up an automated system which is normally supposed to filter false opinions ... and let the real opinions appear.

The idea is good because 90% of sellers on MQL5 make false advice ....

But the problem is that it does not work !!!!!!
It erases all the real opinions of the real customers and who cannot express themselves openly.

Impossible to discuss the problem with MQL5, they say that the system is automated and that they can do nothing.

Despite all this, it allows you to see certain EAS which only have hidden opinions ... for some it is justified, for others not ...
