Thanks for the EA. Just wonder how many trades the EA will take weekly? So far I do not have any trades after running for two days on H4 USAJPY.

Hi. The EA takes on average 1 trade every 2 days so this is perfectly possible. If this persists please send me a private message so we can investigate further and I can help you install it correctly

Is it possible for you to give us a break down on how to install and apply the EA?

I just installed it and ran the EA against USDJPY, but there isn't any open trades. I did not make any edits.

I did not change anything on the input tab, I just applied the EA, but it looks like I'm missing something. I've attached a screenshot of the EA on the 4H USDJPY chart

Okay I can see what is wrong. I am just out now but when I get home I will edit this comment with instructions on how to get the EA working properly

Hi. When the little hat in the top right corner of the chart is blue you know the EA has been properly installed. The reason yours is white can be 1 of 2 possible things.

  1. Your automated trading on the platform is not enabled. Click View -> Toolbars -> Standard. And then click the red square on the toolbar to enable automated trading if you have not done so already
  2. Right click the chart then click expert list -> Williams Wizard -> Properties -> Common -> Allow Algo Trading

Please let me know if this fixes your issue

Hi, how I should optimize and test the EA for
  • Williams %R upper threshold
  • Williams %R lower threshold

    • Both values are negative and as I try to optimize it as negative there is an error and it won't start.

    Appreciate any hints.

    Also, are you able to share optimized parameters that works for you?

    Hi. There are 2 options.

    1. You can optimise start = 0, end = -100, step = -1
    2. start = -100, stop = 0, step = 1

    Quick question: So everytime the EA opens a trade, the SL is also the entry point?

    No. When a trade is opened, you will see that a horizontal line also appears on the chart. This is the break even level. Once the price crosses this line, The stop loss is moved the entry point.
