This is a simple Time Range Breakout EA with dynmaic lot size, trailing stop loss and day of week filter.

I tried this EA on Strategy Tester now; EURUSD as example, reasonable scheme seems to optimize 6 months back and repeat that as time passes.I found 6 months on same params could return 110% on an account 1 000-10 000 with lot size determined by 11 percent of funds where I optimized using profit factor and payoff as schemes, based on real ticks. On the other hand trying to use the EA without determining settings using Strategy Tester may not be fruitful. So learn to master that tool. Of course any setting based on historical data will not guarantee profitability on what trading conditions the future brings, but periodic settings can dial in to what worked with typical movement in a most recent period.

I tried this EA on Strategy Tester now; EURUSD as example, reasonable scheme seems to optimize 6 months back and repeat that as time passes.I found 6 months on same params could return 110% on an account 1 000-10 000 with lot size determined by 11 percent of funds where I optimized using profit factor and payoff as schemes, based on real ticks. On the other hand trying to use the EA without determining settings using Strategy Tester may not be fruitful. So learn to master that tool. Of course any setting based on historical data will not guarantee profitability on what trading conditions the future brings, but periodic settings can dial in to what worked with typical movement in a most recent period.
