"TheThing", the expert advisor maintains a consistent style of minimalistic design. It is worth noting that this robot is not specifically tailored for any particular purpose, allowing you to engage in trading across all available symbols. However, its default configuration is optimized for trading SILVER on an H1 time frame. Although it is adaptable to various symbols, additional adjustments may be necessary. The default settings for the SILVER symbol have yielded excellent results in tests, and despite being implemented almost a year ago, they continue to perform well.

The robot adheres to a minimalist design, eliminating unnecessary inputs. Nevertheless, this simplicity should not be misconstrued as a lack of control; on the contrary, the user interface provides comprehensive control options. The robot operates seamlessly with default settings on XAGUSD (silver). For those inclined to experiment with settings for other symbols, it's essential to recognize the robot's substantial potential. Its key feature lies in a logic system that generates signals for both entering and exiting positions.

All exit rules, including Take Profit (TP), Stop Loss (SL), Trailing Stop (TS), and Break Even (BE), are computed based on independent ATR indicators and expressed in coefficients. The robot supports various order types, conveniently accessible through a drop-down menu. Users can opt for the robot to work exclusively with either buy or sell orders. Additionally, automatic decision-making is a standout feature. The robot determines the order type it will open based on a comprehensive system optimization.

By default, the robot employs STOP orders, providing a balanced trading frequency. For those seeking increased trading activity, the robot includes a built-in option for duplicating orders. In such cases, the robot can simultaneously open both buy and sell orders, making it suitable for HEDGE account types. It is strongly recommended to utilize a Virtual Private Server (VPS) for optimal performance. Without it, the application may not function effectively.

Regarding the robot's logic, only a small fraction (one percent) is visible within the interface. However, users need not worry, as they retain full control over the robot's operations. In summary, TheThing expert advisor offers a versatile and powerful tool for trading, with robust default settings and the flexibility for customization to suit individual preferences.
