Dear friends,

Price Action Trade Panel EA MT5 has been updated with the following additions/fixes:

1. An issue with the opening of some lot sizes was fixed.

2. Some users asked that they would like the Price Action Trade Panel EA MT5 to remember the on panel inputs (Lot Size Option, Take Profit, Stop Loss, Break Even, Trailing SL settings etc.) when the terminal is restarted. This is possible now.

3. A Magic Numbers to Manage option was added above the Magic Numbers Not to Manage setting, to allow easier and faster inputs of your options.

4. The Automatic Partial Closure setting in the inside Price Action Trade Panel EA MT5 settings, was enriched with 2 more levels, increasing the Take Profit Partial Closure levels to 3. Also 3 Stop Loss Partial Closure settings have been added.

5. Also a user asked for a Hedge option on the Price Action Trade Panel EA MT5 on panel settings and it has been implemented. In addition the hedge trade can be opened with no or reversed TP/SL levels, with Synchronized Closure along with the original trade and with a Lot Size Multiplier that allows the hedge trade to have the same, smaller or larger lot size than the original trade.

6. Profit/Loss values have been added on the Close Buy / Close Sell / Close Profit / Close Loss / Close All buttons to give a better visualization of the panel's/account's trades profit/loss information. There is also a Hide/Show P/L button to allow the user to hide these profit/loss values if they are distracting.

7. A new field has been added on the Price Action Trade Panel EA MT5 that shows the current symbol's trades profit/loss information. All current symbol's trades that are managed by the Price Action Trade Panel EA MT5 will be closed if it is clicked, to allow a better control on same symbol's trades.

Please update your Price Action Trade Panel EA MT5.

Hi Eleni,

What is a difference between three modes of Price Action calculations - fast, standard and slow - besides thier speed?

Thank you

Hi Eleni,

Hello Yuri,

The difference between the three modes lies in their responsiveness to current market price action.

  • Fast Mode: This mode uses more recent price data, making it highly responsive to current price movements. It is better suited for short-term trading decisions.

  • Slow Mode: This mode relies on older price data, providing a broader view of the symbol. It is more appropriate for longer-term decisions.

Hi Eleni,

Could you please advise why BE does not work in my case? If after opening a position price moves in a profitable direction then SL jumps exactly to an open price value, not to BE level. If after that market turns back the position is closing with zero profit minus broker's commision. How I can make SL jump to BE point? Do I fill the Trade Panel in a right way below?

Thank you

Hello Yuri,

With your panel settings, when the trade reaches a profit of 50 points, the Break Even setting is moving the SL from 500 points behind the open price, at the open price of the trade, so what you are experiencing is normal.

Please tell me what do you want to do, in order to tell you how to do it.

Eleni,

If I want the SL was moved from initial position directly to a small profitable level, not to the zero-profit level, what sholud be a balance between BE, Trailing Stop and Trailing Start in the Table?

To say, Trailing Start - Trailing Stop > BE ?

Thank you.

Hello Yuri,

You could put:

Trailing Start in Points: 60

Trailing Stop in Points: 50

Trailing Step in Points: 20

that way when the profit reaches 60 points, the SL will be moved 10 points above the opening price, covering any commission costs and will be moved at 30 points profit when the profit reached 80 points and so on.

The Break Even setting cannot help you in what you want to achieve.

If you want to start trailing a little later you could put:

Trailing Start in Points: 80

Trailing Stop in Points: 70

Trailing Step in Points: 20

Hello Eleni,
Is it possible for you to add the following function to the expert?

If I am in a position of a value and this is positive, then the button appears green.
If I am in a position of a value and this is negative, then the button appears red.

This function would be helpful if I am in several positions at the same time in the swing trading area and would give me an even better overview.
Best regards
Tim

Hello Tim,

I am not sure I understand what you mean, can you explain it better please?

What is the positive and negative position of a value? Do you mean the price action left and right numbers? Or the 'Close All' button profit/loss values?

Which button should appear green or red? The symbols buttons or the 'Close All' button?
