Charts247 Daily Currency Matrix MT5
Every currency and every pair starts the day at zero and moves in pips, on one screen: see which currency is driving the market today, which pairs carry the move, and whether the H4 candles agree. Strongest to weakest, updated every second.
A pair is only ever two currencies pulling against each other. When EURUSD rises, is the euro strong or the dollar weak? The Daily Currency Matrix answers that before you open a single pair chart: it resets every currency and every pair to zero at the start of the trading day and tracks how far each one has moved, in pips, through the day.
Eight currency lines
• AUD, CAD, CHF, EUR, GBP, JPY, NZD and USD, each measured against the other seven through up to 28 pairs.
• A currency line is the average move of its pairs, signed for that currency: when USDJPY rises the dollar line goes up; when EURUSD rises the dollar line goes down.
• One look shows the strongest and the weakest currency, and the pair between them is usually the cleanest move of the day.
Twenty-eight pair lines
• One button switches to the pairs: every major and cross from zero at the reset, in pips.
• Spot the pairs already stretched and the ones still lagging.
H4 confirmation
• Each line is tagged against the last two closed H4 candles: WITH when they move the same way as today's move, AGAINST when they move the other way, H4 FLAT when they are inside or outside candles.
• For a currency, the table shows how many of its pairs have H4 candles moving for it or against it, for example UP 6/7.
Ranked table
• Strongest to weakest, with the pips, the H4 candles and the day against H4, updated every second.
• One button hides it.
Line-end tags
• The name, the pips and the H4 tag at the end of each line, spaced so they never overlap however close the lines run.
Built for any broker
• Finds your broker's symbol names on its own (prefixes and suffixes such as .r, m or .pro).
• If a pair is missing, it is skipped and named: the info line shows how many pairs have data (for example data 27/28), and hovering over it lists the missing ones.
• The pair list, the reset hour and the measuring timeframe are inputs.
How it measures
• Every line starts at zero at the daily reset (broker midnight by default; set any server hour).
• Values are taken from M15 closes by default. On history, each chart candle shows the last measuring candle that had closed by then, so the lines never use prices from later in the day. The live candle moves every second.
• Shows the current day and the day before by default (an input).
Inputs
• Pairs: the list (28 by default), broker prefix and suffix.
• Daily reset and measure: reset hour, measuring timeframe, days shown.
• Display: currencies or pairs first, table, tags, line widths, font.
• Colours: each currency, WITH, AGAINST, flat, table.
Notes
• Opens in its own window below the chart; works on any chart and timeframe (M15 shows the steps best).
• Keep the pairs in Market Watch for the fastest start; the matrix adds them itself when the broker allows it.
• In the Strategy Tester only the tested pair has data, so the free demo shows that pair; the full matrix needs a live chart.
• No DLLs and no files written.
