Trend Pilot EA is a clean, rule-based trend-following Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5. It is built to be simple, transparent and safe: no martingale, no grid, no averaging down, no hedging.
HOW IT WORKS
Detects trend changes with a Fast/Slow EMA crossover (default 20/50).
Confirms direction with an RSI filter to avoid weak signals.
Every trade has a Stop Loss and Take Profit calculated from ATR, so risk adapts to market volatility.
Opens only one trade at a time and acts only on closed bars (no repainting, no tick noise).
RISK MANAGEMENT
Lot size is calculated automatically from a % of your balance (default 1%), or set a fixed lot.
Built-in spread filter, trading-hours filter and free-margin check.
Respects broker stop level, freeze level and lot step.
RECOMMENDED SETTINGS
Symbols: XAUUSD, EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY
Timeframe: H1 (also works on M30 and H4)
Minimum deposit: 500 USD
Account type: any (Netting or Hedging)
Broker: any, low-spread ECN/Raw account preferred
VPS recommended for 24/5 operation

HOW TO START
Attach the EA to one chart (H1).
Enable Algo Trading.
Keep the default settings, or optimize them in the Strategy Tester.
