Torvex

Torvex is an MT5 Expert Advisor that uses a custom APEX pivot engine to identify potential breakout levels.

It automatically places and manages a configurable ladder of Buy Stop and Sell Stop pending orders around these levels.

Torvex includes virtual stop-loss management, trailing stops, breakeven protection, broker-side safety stops, spread and trading-time filters, and a USD high-impact news filter for selected major events. Additional controls include trade cooldowns and configurable order spacing.

Recommended Broker Conditions

For XAUUSD, use:

• 5 minute timeframe

• Raw spread / ECN-style account

• Low XAUUSD spread

• Competitive commission

• Good execution quality

• Low slippage

• Reliable MT5 server

• VPS located close to the broker's trading server

Avoid brokers/accounts with consistently wide gold spreads.

VPS Is Strongly Recommended

A VPS is highly recommended and effectively essential for serious automated operation.

This is particularly important because the EA uses tick-by-tick virtual trailing and active trade management. A stable VPS keeps MT5 connected to the broker and allows the EA to manage positions continuously without depending on your personal computer remaining switched on.

For best results, use a VPS with low latency/ping to your broker's trading server.

Recommended Starting Capital

The default lot size is set at 0.01.

As a practical minimum, I recommend approximately:

$100 starting balance per 0.01 but do your own backtests to find your own risk tolerance level. 

You can also switch to % of balance per trade in the menu(default 1%). 

Account Type

The EA is designed to work with MT5 hedging accounts.
