MACD Divergence indicator for MetaTrader 5 that finds regular and hidden divergences automatically, marks MACD/Signal line crossovers with buy and sell arrows, and sends alerts – all in one window. Signals are confirmed on closed bars only, so arrows and lines do not repaint.
MAIN FEATURES
- Classic MACD with a 4-color histogram (rising/falling above and below zero), MACD line and Signal line
- Automatic divergence detection:
• Regular bullish – price makes a lower low, MACD makes a higher low
• Regular bearish – price makes a higher high, MACD makes a lower high
• Hidden bullish – price makes a higher low, MACD makes a lower low
• Hidden bearish – price makes a lower high, MACD makes a higher high
- Divergence lines drawn on both the price chart and the MACD window (solid = regular, dotted = hidden)
- Buy arrow when the MACD line crosses above the Signal line, sell arrow when it crosses below – shown in the MACD window and on the price chart
- Optional zero-line filter: buy arrows only below zero, sell arrows only above zero
- Alerts: popup, sound and push notifications to your phone, for divergences and crossovers (each can be switched on or off)
- No repainting: signals appear only after the bar has closed and a swing has been confirmed
- Works on all symbols and timeframes
HOW TO USE
Regular divergences can warn that the current move is losing strength and a reversal may follow. Hidden divergences often appear during pullbacks and can point to trend continuation. MACD/Signal crossovers give a simple momentum signal, and the zero-line filter helps reduce weak crosses in ranging markets. Many traders use divergence as the setup and a crossover in the same direction as confirmation.

- Crossover filter – Any crossover, or Buy only below zero / Sell only above zero
- Arrows in MACD window / Arrows on price chart – choose where arrows are shown
- Buy arrow color / Sell arrow color – default Lime / Red
- Price-chart arrow size (1–5)
Divergence detection
- Oscillator used for pivots – MACD line or Histogram
- Pivot bars left / right – how pronounced a swing must be (bars right = confirmation delay)
