TFT Midas is a trend-filtered grid Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5, built and tuned for XAUUSD (Gold) on a cent account. It takes its direction from the EMA on H1, opens baskets in that direction only, and closes every position in a basket together at one shared take profit.
How it works
- Direction: on every new H1 candle, the last closed candle is compared with the EMA. A close above the EMA means only buy baskets. A close below means only sell baskets.
- One direction at a time: a buy basket and a sell basket are never open together.
- Grid: if price moves against the basket, a new leg is added at preset distances. Lot sizes follow a built-in 64-step ladder that starts at 0.01 lot.
- Shared exit: every leg gets the same take profit, calculated from the basket’s average entry price, so the whole basket closes together.
- A running basket completes its cycle even if the EMA flips. The new direction applies to the next basket.
Built-in protections
- Free margin is checked before every new leg. No order is sent without enough margin.
- Lot sizes are matched to your broker’s minimum, maximum and step. If a leg would be larger than the broker’s maximum lot, the basket stops adding legs instead of splitting orders.
- Equity loss stop (optional): closes all EA positions and halts the EA when the account’s floating loss reaches your chosen percentage of balance. The halt stays in place after a terminal restart.
- Daily profit target (optional): closes all EA positions and pauses trading until the next server day once the target is reached.
- If the broker rejects a take profit, the EA watches the target itself and closes the basket at the same price.
- Only trades with its own Magic Number are managed. Manual trades and other EAs are not touched.
Requirements
- Minimum deposit: 7,00,00 - 1,000,000 USC (cent account).
- Account type: cent account with hedging enabled. The EA does not start on a netting account.
- The lot ladder is fixed. On a standard USD account the same lots produce the same figures in USD, so a standard account would need 1,000,000 USD for the same risk. A cent account is strongly recommended.
- Symbol: XAUUSD quoted with 2 and 3 decimals.
- Attach to one XAUUSD chart. Any chart timeframe works; the signal always uses H1.
- A VPS is recommended so the EA runs without interruption.
Input parameters
- EMA Period on H1 (default 200): EMA used to decide buy or sell direction.
- Max legs using TP1 (default 5): baskets with this many legs or fewer use TP1. Larger baskets switch to TP2.
- TP1 points (default 750): take profit distance from the basket’s average price for smaller baskets. 750 = 7.50 on gold.
- TP2 points (default 500): take profit distance for larger baskets. 500 = 5.00 on gold.
- Equity loss % to stop EA (default 0 = off): closes everything and halts the EA at this loss percentage.
- Clear a saved equity-stop halt on start (default false): set to true once to resume after an equity stop, then set it back to false.
- Daily Profit Mode: percentage of start-of-day balance, or a fixed amount in account currency.
- Daily Profit Limit (default 0 = off): daily target in % or money, depending on the mode above.
- Magic Number (default 7): must be above 0. Use a different number on each chart.
- Max slippage (default 30 broker points): maximum accepted slippage for orders.
- Price per 1 grid/TP distance point (default 0.01): converts the EA’s distance points into price. Keep 0.01 for gold.
