It is possible and from $ 100 to start, but it is very risky. I would recommend a minimum of $ 500 and $ 1,000 for comfort. why when I'm changing Lots parameter on StrategyTester form 0.1 to 0.02 there is no effect on lot size. StrategyTester is trading with 0.01 lost size. (deposit = 500$) I'm using 5 digits.
