SteadyPips is a rule-based Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 that automates trade entries and basket management. It combines RSI signals with a moving-average trend filter, while ATR-based spacing helps determine when another position may be added.

For beginners, this means the EA can monitor the chart and follow its configured rules without requiring you to calculate every entry manually. You can set the lot size and risk controls in the EA’s inputs, then monitor its activity through MT5. It still needs oversight: automated trading does not remove market risk.

How it manages trades

The recorded configuration uses a 0.01 base lot, allows up to four basket positions, and scales added positions by a 1.2 multiplier. It aims to close the basket at its configured take-profit target and includes a 3% maximum basket-loss setting.

Because it can add positions when the market moves against an open trade, exposure can grow during a sustained move. The basket-loss setting is a control, not a guarantee against larger losses from slippage or fast market conditions.

Getting started

1. Open an EURUSD chart in MT5 and attach SteadyPips.
2. Choose a timeframe and set the base lot to match your account and risk tolerance.
3. Review the basket, spacing, and loss-limit inputs before running it.
4. Test on a demo account first and monitor the EA while it trades.
